Is Cataclysm Classic Dead on Realm Ashkandi?

I’ve noticed that the realm has become a ghost town. I finally ran into someone in Stormwind who said that the realm has been locked for new players and it’s possible that Ahskandi may be shut down. Anyone know what’s happening?

It is being shut down. There are free transfers in the shop that you can take.

Yes Ashkandi is on the list of servers closing.

So is this for just one character…what if you have several characters?

They’re all eligible, move them all the same way.
