Is Blizzard Tone Deaf?

M+ is just dungeon crawling, many games offer that experience, in fact, most MMO’s have something like that. ESO, FF, Lostark just to rattle a few. If anything, M+ and the lower participation this expansion should be warning flags that WoW has lost touch with their player base

Sorry, you lost me. They would need to make $10k to cover the 100 hours spent times at least 2 people, pushing that number to $20k. So 223 mounts sold would cover the dev cost, and everything else is profit to roll back in. The more sold, the more willing they are to do this with other mounts in the future. Ashes of A’lar, Swift Zulian Tiger, the Chicken mount, even Invincible. I can’t wait to see how far it carries them and how many of these TCG mounts I can collect through the shop.

sounds like a good deal if they add in the magic rooster :chicken:

Logic doesn’t generally work in the forums but you are exactly correct.

You all worry way too much about what other people decide to do with their money.

But there were store mounts being sold in Legion too.

As is your entitlement.

There is a bit of a difference between dropping $15 for as many hours of enjoyment as I want in a month and spending $90 on a mount that I would just sit on in Dornogal for 5 minutes hoping someone cares.

It isn’t just in WoW bro. D4’s bugs have been pretty brutal too, and they put up skins that are like $30 US that look absolutely amazing and hard for people to say no to.

If the LK skin was for all classes, I’m pretty sure they would have made more than this mount is going to make for them.

Blizz is going to just go deeper on the micro transactions cause ya know those executives need their bonuses to buy that second mansion.

I always love the cheerleaders who think Blizz NEEDS to do these kinds of things to keep our sub at $15/mo and to keep the lights on. Lmao, they do it to continue increasing overall profits year after year after year.

Little currency? Somebody is not farming it right.

Wait, so you’re saying they’re a business?

This is literally the goal of every business ever.

Legionbabies are probably too young to remember, but this exact same outrage happened with the sparklepony.

The budget brutosaur trains in dorn with 100+ people seem to be the reality. People eat it up.

The outrage is probably minuscule compared to the sheer volume of day 1 sales.

“Hey Bob, we need you to stop working on the shading and modeling on the Brutosaur mount. We need you to go fix some bugs in combat abilities…what? What do you mean that your degree and job title both indicate that you’re a graphic designer? We need you to FIX THOSE NUMBERS, learn the coding on the fly!”

okay, but why would they need to summon it multiple times? the AH and mail vendors are both on it.

See ya later!!!

People have been begging for the brutosaur mount for YEARS. If they released it 5 weeks ago or one year ago or a 6 months ago, some people would still complain about it being bread and circuses. And those people would be wrong.

Totally agree. Story is not even good. Killed off the best characters. My sub will run out next week on both accounts. I’m not saying I won’t use gold to come back but as of right now I’m out after 19 years.

I hope they offer to sell us a nonbuggy patch. Do a kickstarter. I’ll pitch in. Let them say what bugs they will fix.

Because now, instead of flushing sub money down the toilet, we are paying for something and they legally owe it.
