They release a 90$ powercreep auction/mail mount to get further rewarded upon the heels of the buggiest patch they have ever released?
They should be BEGGING for our forgiveness that the patch went out in the state it did. The fact that they give such little currency for the anniversary event. The fact that they released the BRD raid without listening to PTR feedback.
But no they’ll release a 120 dollar cat mount to lock in peoples subs, have 90$ non-late access to get more per person for each expansion. And now this.
You do realize we pay 15 dollars a month to play this game right? I’m out. LMK me when anything gets close to the amount of quality they put into Legion.
you’re right on the money here! unfortunately… you’re going to be eaten alive by people in seconds who think this type of behavior is completely acceptable given the product we pay for already. this company knows their player base, their demographics and what they can get away with.
they will continue doing it and continue leveling up this type of behavior so long as people continue to buy in and justify this game as “cheap entertainment so it’s worth it!”
I’m not benefitting. From all this extra money, no expansion since legion has been even 1/10th as good. Where is all this extra money going? If the quality of the game was improving over time I would begrudgingly agree, but it really hasn’t.
well they need to do something to make back some money from the hundreds of thousands if not millions of canceled subs over the past 4-5 years.
they are too stun to realize that if they made quality expansions that was chalked full of content with no time gating and over the top esports design that people would of never left in the 1st place. game is no longer dying. it is finally dead.
The monthly price has never increased in $20 years. You are directly benefiting. Without their shop full of optional purchases Blizz would have no choice but to raise the monthly rate. You should be paying $40/month but you’re paying a 20 year old price. You are very directly benefiting. You are just to entitled to realize it.
Exactly. The incentives are all wrong. Theyre looking to milk more money out of the existing players, rather than improve the game to gain new ones.
It’s called ensh!t7ification, and its a common process for many tech companies. Build a userbase with a unique/good product> management changes> in an effort to make constant record quarterly profits try and get more money out of existing userbase.
It takes a certain type of person to ignore the present moment and look ahead to the future. Intel is suffering right now for being stagnant for so long. NVIDIA is dominant because they never stopped innovating. Two different mindsets.
They might if people unsubscribed en masse, but very few people if any will, so no they won’t nor would it change anything. Are you planning to unsubscribe?
