its because they cant risk the people coming mid to late tier just deciding that its not worth their short time and just unsub to never come back. the first ones in line are the one being milked the most because they think they have all the time in world so its fine to wander around at a snails pace.

Honestly (imo) I didn’t see anything worth my time in the event. There are only 2 mounts in game I never got and one of them you can’t get again so unless those are on the list (and they are not), no thanks!
I wish they included rewards for people that already have the rewards theyre offering.
Didn’t we just get the Sha mount in remix?
There’s less motivation to play it when the rewards you already own.
The gear HD upgrades are cool. Nobody has them, but everything else is reused assets.

As a casual who only plays about 11 hours per day and up to 19 on weekends this should not be an issue for any casual player.

This is pretty standard for blizzard. Timegating is just their way of creating a problem so your forced to stay subscribed for longer and pretty crappy tbh.
I know this may be just one of the craziest ideas ever conceived, but if you don’t like it…

This is literally false, two weeks for first tmog set. By the third week not even doing everything available you unlock the ability for warband characters to each earn bronze, by week four you can have every single thing from the entire event, not to mention an entire raid and brand new time walking dungeons…
In addition the events theme shifts weekly and there are different Daily’s. I don’t like time gated content but it’s a huge stretch to call all of the aforementioned content gated when you can have everything you want in under a month…
It’s also coming pretty fast following the start of the season it’s not like it’s the end of the previous patch, tens of thousands of players are still progressing NP, pushing keys, progressing delves and filling their vaults…
This is basically a bonus on what would otherwise be a nothing patch…yeesh

The players that approve of time gated content are the people who play a couple hours a week and don’t want to feel like they’re way behind others. But, they still don’t play enough and are still behind regardless. Blizz loves it cause it keeps the rest of us subbed for something we should be able to grind out in an afternoon.
