Yes and no.
Technically speaking due to lack of offhand options in this phase, the weapons are outclassed by the gladiator ones. However, these require a rating requirement, and will take weeks to generate the points.
Next phase however…
Also, deep thunder is kinda funny in pvp. But expensive to make of course.
If they ever make the change to the BS mace which makes it 1H instead of Main Hand… then yes, must have, craft your BiS.
Until then it’s not super critical, but you’ll be limited in weapon selection by RNG of drops vs crafting something that’s really good.
I’d say it’s worth it and is definitely the best profession an enhance shaman could choose.
Yes it is. Its fun plus its something to have until you get your Bis weapon because BS items arent Bis.
They will change it later on. I think it’s good that weapons take more work to earn right now.
IMO, if you’re gonna learn to be a weaponsmith, start now. Farm your own mats to save money.

If you have the gold and time sure, however it’s not technically “BiS” and you don’t use it past P2 after you get TK weapons.
So kinda your own decision based on if you can get the weapons from Kara or not.
Bladefist from Heroic Shattered Halls is listed as slightly better then BS weapons, with Decap from Prince being BiS for P1.
