Title. Both Plagued and Black were gone in retail once Ulduar happened, but wotlk classic kept those in. I know for a fact that The Immortal and the Undying are both unavailable once Cata happens, same with their ulduar counterparts and their TOGC counterparts (A tribute to Mad skill and A Tribute to Immortality). But what’s the status about the Black Proto-drake?

As we approach Wrath Classic 3.4.1 and the release of Ulduar, we want to make sure all players know that the Glory of the Raider Black Proto-Drake, Plagued Proto-Drake, the Immortal title, and the Undying title will remain available to be earned throughout Wrath Classic.

You can assume that they’ll remove it come Cataclysm, then again it’s not really saying anything regarding Cata so yeah I’m also curious whether or not they’ll keep it in.
It’s a odd thing in general. Anything that requires no raid deaths is pretty much going away, but the Proto-drakes are a big ? mark since retail saw them removed when Ulduar launched, but Classic decided to keep them. What’s their status in cata? Are they staying as a reward for completing the glory achievements while making those no longer require the deathless achievements? It would be appreciated if the devs clarified about it, and hopeful not wait for the eleventh hour to tell you “yeah, sorry. They are going away, you have less than a month to work on them now if you didn’t already. GL and bye!” like they did with so many other rewards.

Yeah I don’t know, though anyone that would want it should try to get it asap since the availability of it is is in question.
Actually there’s a way we can find out, ask someone who’s in the Cataclysm beta.

However, I’m not sure if this use due to the fact that they ported back Cata data or if its intended.
Most likely going to get removed. The immortal achievements are an exception I guess. Those are just toxic achievements.

Go with the assumption that both Plague and Black proto drakes, along side of Immortal and Undying titles, are going away the day prepatch hits live.
they’ve already extended it through wrath classic. what more do you want? If you dont have it now then you don’t deserve it, as it’s piss easy to get with current gear. they should have taken it out after phase 1 imo.

Thats one hell of a spiteful comment. Nobody asked for your opinion on this removal or for you to question the ability of the other person, much less a demeaning and meaningless bash. I already got naxx 10 one and im working on 25 man Naxx, but i was curious about it since i wanna help other people get it too and i wasnt sure if the proto-drakes are gone in cata or not.
