I mean…at-least we can’t go any lower on our current morale, we can only get better from here on…right…right??!
We can compare Draenei with Orcish culture, and of other races, to understanding Horde’s inexperience.
If Orcish culture really is ‘‘RAAHHH KILL DESTROY GENOCIDE’’ then maybe there is a problem with Orcish culture?
By any reasonable metric the Horde as an entity should have been disbanded by now, but being this is a game this is obviously impossible. Doesn’t make them going on a rampage every few years acceptable or understandable.
To me, the problem is that with so many repeat mistakes at this point, why even care about wanting it to improve?
It feels like you give extreme examples. I personally do not see “villain/hero” narrative.
Horde, as an inexperienced alliance, with inexperienced races and cultures, going through misunderstandings.
Also, there is no justification for genocide and I did not mention it once, but I’m glad we have such events on the Horde’s side. It makes everything more thoughtful.
Intentional genocide is not a ‘‘misunderstanding’’
It’s grounds for having your political organization disbanded and its leaders and generals tried and executed.
The orcs havent participated in Genocide since before the first war.
You’re not having a discussion anymore, it feels personal.
I’m off.
Peace.
How is it not a discussion? You’re trying to frame a political organization participating in mass slaughter on repeat occasions as just small ‘‘whoopsies’’ that they will eventually grow out of.
“Mass Slaughter” is arguable, But mass slaughter doesnt equal Genocide.
Garrosh’s campaign was littered with mass slaughters while I’d say Teldrassil was genocide because it was targeted at a single race in particular with the intention of wiping them out.
Also Blizzard literally used the word to describe the event so…
Teldrassil wasnt a “Genocide” on the Hordes act homever, It was because of Sylvanas. Their intent was never set on “LETS KILL ALL THE NIGHT ELVES” (and even then that is pushing it) The intention wasnt to wipe them out but more to just scare the alliance as a whole.
But yes The Azerothian technique of Scaring the other faction is quite dumbfounded (see Teldrassil and well Zuldazar assault for alliance, both had similar intentions in that they wanted to both create consequences for the other faction in that the horde wanted to use Darnassus as a bargain chip, while the alliance just wanted to sabotage Zandalar and Horde Relations.
Both cases failed miserably.
There was debate about that in the european forums. If its about the size of the army or the undead void resilience. Enemy at the gates, Gallywix burning papers, Nathanos recruiting civilians points to a biger army outside Ogrimar. Warthion line “Your armies mean nothing” also points that Aleria wasn’t refering to numbers.
See above:
She gave the order and the (orc) soldiers pulled the trigger, then continued to fight for her for a long time.
How? ‘‘Do what we say or we kill all the civilians?’’ That’s… not a whole lot better.
In any case, it doesn’t paint a pretty picture of the Horde at all. I’m not exactly sure how Blizzard will try and salvage the Horde storyline after that. I guess the Horde council trying to make amends by capturing Sylvanas is a good start…
This seems like a promise that’s destined to fail, or it’d otherwise tick off a loooooot of alliance fans if horde ended up getting the kill on a former warchief yet again and deny completion of Tyrande’s direct vengeance in the process.
At this point we can safely say that the civilians were destined to die no matter what. Sylvanas wanted their deaths from the very beginning.
And furthermore, it was not just Sylvanas fault. It was the entire Horde. It would be like saying that the holocaust was only hitlers fault. Nonsense. If he didn’t have bad people following him, he wouldn’t have been successful with that, just like Sylvanas wouldn’t have been successful with the extinction of the Night Elves.

Do i really need to explain.
If you have to ask if you need to explain…than you’re doing a pretty poor job of getting your point across. Assuming there even is a point to be made.
I thought you would realize it was in regards to the hitler stuff.
