Is anyone else pretty happy with PvP right now?

Everything in this game is enjoyable as long as my class is enjoyable. Sadly I haven’t found too many fun classes this exp.

I love it. I’ve never had this much fun as Holy and have only 1 complaint about the spec, pvp-wise. Not having vendors doesn’t bother me, but i DO wonder what i will do with the marks once i have all the previous seasons’ gear. It would be nice if maybe we could put those marks towards conquest points, honor level, or something similar that would continue to be of use to the player.

Yea I don’t think I give enough credit to this part of it (I lay a lot of blame at vendor issues). My main spec (enhance) feels like a hot mess, I’m really tired of waddle city. Even in 8.0 when we were one shotting people I didn’t like it. Seriously miss mop/wod enhance.

Not a bad idea honestly. You can also buy consumables that give you pretty busted bonuses in random bgs. Not sure if that’s of interest to you or not.

It’s like playing golf at Pebble Beach with a plastic set of clubs. It doesn’t matter how nice the course is. You’re going to be miserable.

That’s probably why I’m still having fun, tbh. Legion had pockets where I didn’t care for Balance as much, and despite Legion being waaaaaay better than BfA is I did feel burned out more often.

It’s ok. I wish gearing was better. I miss grinding out Battlegrounds while leveling, hoarding my honor, then as soon as I ding 120 getting a couple weapons from honor vendor and continuing to do BGs. Now whenever I ding 120 on a new char it’s straight to heroics, then to M+, then once i’m around 380 ilvl i’ll go into some BGs. But at this point, it’s strictly for fun and less about the vendor trash rewards I receive.

I wish Arenas weren’t the dumpster fire they’ve become. % abilties and overpowered PvP trinkets. Blizz can’t seem to figure out what to do with Hunters in Arenas still. My other classes are grinding Opulence to get a diamond laced trinket to keep up with classes who do have it.

This expansion I find myself PvPing when I have the extra time, instead of it being my sole focus like in previous expansions. Which is kind of a bummer, but I guess that is also what Ion wanted from PvP in BFA anyway.

This is exactly what happened to me in legion. I ended up falling asleep tanking in nighthold the night we got aotc. I probably won’t be a raider again. The long fights smashing the same toenail on a boss doesn’t interest me at all.

I liked Nighthold a lot, the exceptions being Mistress and Coven. The number of soaks being the main mechanic for everything was a bit dumb though.

Not to happy… as i feel that the healing outweights damage… and that OVERALL damage in pvp is crap… needs to be buffed. Takes to long to kill other than if you have 3+ people

Healing isn’t scaled at all from what little I’ve tested. Having a high item level healer healing a low ilevel dps would make the low item level dps nearly immortal because the damage from enemies would be scaled down while having full powered heals.

I think thats kinda stupid… IL scaling shouldnt exsist

In terms of epics, AV is generally auto loss, WG is auto loss on assault or a 50-50 chance on defense, IoC you can see if you are going to lose depending on where people go out the gates. The gear is annoying to deal with (either vendors and no scaling or no vendors and templates imo) especially on alts. Classes lost too much and gained too little while some classes kept way to much and didnt lose enough. Some classes like fire mage and destro locks wtf insta gibbing out of nowhere are unfun. I can go on but at the end of the day it is still wow pvp and the best on the market.

I dunno about this one man lol
