Its not even but not so bad. Last i checjed 45% Ally %55 Horde. So its for sure a healthy server for Ally.

Horde outnumber alliance on my server I believe the split is about 35:65, aside from halaa, PvP objectives still get completed, and plenty of people are raiding/doing heroics, though for pugging raids you have to join the server discord if you want a consistent experience.
Most servers that had a horde domination are nearly 100% horde. Alliance are jumping ship to the few alliance dominated servers
By the end you’ll see 30% of the servers 100% alliance, and the other 70% 100% horde

The problem is that there isn’t much reason to roll as alliance. You’re going to have less pug group options and you’re going to have less guilds to choose from. Horde has the reputation for being the more skilled faction. While I think that’s generally true, alliance isn’t going to make up any ground until you can change that mindset.

Sure, but that’s subjective. There’s no in game advantage to choosing alliance. There’s less people to play with. Cross-server content in retail alleviates that a bit, but if you’ve ever tried pushing keys, it’s infinitely easier as horde.

It’s 60/40 now.

Once HvH BGs happen, there is no point in being alliance at all unless you just love the asthetics at the expense of gameplay.
Well, there are lots of alliance still on PVE servers.
My PVP server is 59% H / 41% A at this point (went up 2% A since last week) and the spirit towers get taken by allies and a 40 man ally raid was farming Halaa for tokens the other day and they own Halaa frequently enough. We have one layer now so it’s not a layer thing.
I’m glad the alliance on my server still fight and things are ok for now.
Faction rivalry is one of the reasons I play this game. Honestly, if every server turns 99% one faction or even if my server does I’ll probably walk away as I did with retail. It won’t be to another MMO either as none of those look worth spending my time in either (mostly they look P2W or boring).

Horde racials are better in both PvE and PvP. Most PvP servers are so horde dominated they might as well be PvE
No reason to be alliance other then for RP in TBC. It’s why WoTLK buffed alliance racials and nerfed horde (along with faction changes)

I’d like to point out this as well. If you’ve got 1000 alliance vs 5000 horde on a single server the alliance are going to leave.
Out of the 1000 who leave, about 300 will outright quit rather then wasting the money to transfer.

kinda being a bit ignorant here… yes whitemane and or the couple other top populated servers… OF COURSE it’s gonna seem fine.

No reason to play alliance anymore. Some of us are transferring, others like me are quitting. sulfuras alliance is unplayable. Cant quest, can’t summon to dungeons, cant even get into a dungeon/raid without 2 deaths. The problem is only going to get worse as more leave or go horde.

Loving Netherwind. The server leans towards Alliance but the Horde is more aggressive on average so world PvP is pretty balanced. Its population is High, and rarely Full, so there’s plenty of players to group with and zone spawns aren’t too contested. I recommend giving it a go whether you’re Alliance or Horde.
