I guess some of you were right about a possible mobile version. Not quite what many of you expected, but this is honestly pretty awesome.

How???
<10chars>

How do I get this on my phone?!?!?! :flushed:

sorry, no idea how to get it setup. I assume it’s a form of remote desktop, with features that let you interact with the game.

maybe try the steam app and see if it lets you.

Remember remote desktop apps while playing wow are against the ToU,
Not that they will enforce it, but they can if they want to.

Don’t make sheet up

I’m on my phone so I’m not going to copy and paste ToU.
But the green posts in this post sum it up

Check your “sheet”

Before you call people out

My lack of education? Lol you just linked me a green post and that’s it? You do know that greens are just like you and me right? They don’t work for Blizzard.

Remote desktop does not violate the flagship “one button one action” rule.

No they’re not. What you’re referencing was specifically to game streaming services where you pay to rent their hardware. Blizz’s stance against this was presumably due to licensing and security concerns.

But when you’re remote accessing your own computer, none of those issues are present. It’s your physical computer you’re accessing. It’s your own license you’re using to play. The only difference is you’re doing it from a different device.

Stop fear mongering–especially if it’s premised on flawed information.

The Greenposter was quoting the TOS showing where it says that “cloud based/remote based/unauthorised streaming” is against it. Remote access is when you use one computer to connect to another, and use it to control the host computer, the client - whether a phone, browser, or another computer, is in effect, automating commands and “streaming” to another maching, currently, thats not on the “approved” list of things you can do according to the TOS, and technically IS a violation.

The Greenposter is simply pointing out the TOS verbatim…

The thought of wow phone games makes me ill.

But this THIS would be amazing lol

I saw the thread title and thought it was an idiotic idea.

Then I remembered that I’m leveling a Paladin and only need to click two buttons.

I might check this out, for, uh,… for science of course!

yes yes, for science indeed.

pretty intriguing i admit

I use RDP to check mail etc when at work. But the delay is SO horrible, it’s hard to move around without constantly running into walls and whatnot.
