They where Void Elf eyes.

Allied Races are getting new colors so the Eye Color Sliders work for them.

The only reason it’s a controversy is the dev team being stubborn and not wanting to admit they made a mistake with void elves on multiple levels.

Imagine if they toggled on blue eyes on the alpha and then said oh that wasnt supposed to happen. These are for npcs… lol that would be a fun tease.

The reason it can’t die is because devs keep adding high elf npc’s to the game to string along high elf supporters.

The fascination people have over eye color in a game is actually disturbing. Sure, more options are always good but really, you’ll never notice such a detail unless you explicitly zoom in to look at it. At that point you are not even playing and can simply look at fan art.

That said I see no reason Blizz can’t add more options assuming it doesn’t clash with lore.

Probably, I highly doubt a single leggo will be BIS for PVP, mithic+ and Raiding at the same time, at least for the vast majority of specs.
