Invincible is a problem

I mean if you have a second account, you’re not going to NEED to jump through the hoops that only having one account is going to demand. Goes without saying, yes?

Test… passed?

I… wasn’t doubting you. I was just explaining why I didn’t know this was a thing.

(mumbles not all Undeads have the same sense of humor, just as not all Worgen use flea and tick control)

It’s a meme dude.

The joke is folks don’t get the drop as the mount is invisible, an obvious play on the name “invincible”.

It’s been a standing joke for a very long time.

Man I hope you’re not trolling me on the last day of the year bro, would be fitting though I guess.

Sorry, I went to school.

Not much of a memer.

I would just like confirmation that you can still do it with 2 accounts.

I stopped farming Invis a long time ago… simply because I didn’t care. This, to me, is the whole “flex mount” argument in that what some consider “flex” and “prestige” … I literally DON’T CARE ABOUT IT.

So… the entire “prestige” argument falls apart.

As someone with 700+ mounts, it is my opinion: there is no such thing. If you happen to like the most common, vendor-bought mount, that’s all the matters.

This “rarity/ prestige” argument is embarrassing.

I have no clue. I avoided that raid after the 3 month grind I did for the mount and when I did go back, I didn’t do the lockout trick.

I… didn’t make that argument. I assume you’re talking to someone else now?

He’s not undead - he’s a troll

A little hard to miss unless you didn’t have internet that entire time. It’s been a meme all over the web for over 10 years LMAO

Well I was being genuine, I wasn’t aware of the meme.

Logically I thought it would be very easy to mistake invincible with invisible, so seeing how people were misusing the word I was facepalming as well.

Maybe that’s how the meme started, by someone misusing the word and it stuck.

Pretty much this

I was never on the forums much until 2018, never had a reason to be since I’m not a huge fan of social media or memes.

Only reason I started to read WoW forums was when the game started going downhill for me and found more entertainment reading the forums rather than playing the game.

Low drop rate mounts were never intended to be farmed. They were were intended to be prestigious.

It’s okay  I get an almost daily reminder that I’m an oldhead when it comes to WoW culture

I often cannot tell in game anymore when it comes from a PUG lol I rarely even see the Thunderfury string or the “act I won’t name [Item]” deal

Is that the drop rate of the mount? Or is that the drop rate according to Wowhead?

Not always the same thing.

you realize it is very doubtful they were doing any of that - that is all assumption on your part. People can be mistaken about things and it doesn’t mean they are lying.

There is no outrage to be drummed up about this subject. I mean who the heck really cares if they killed it 100 times or 500 times or 2000 times… the point stands they feel they have killed it too much.

Yup.

They’re putting Invincible on the Trading Post.

The forums wasn’t the only place.

You literally in the last 15 odd years can’t go anywhere online without seeing that, you don’t have to be a fan of social media to not see it . And you must be fan of media since you guild is named after the gym in Dodgeball and its a move therefore media.
