You endlessly grind and grind at invincible for weeks and years.
I rolled 98 on a heroic LK kill 14 years ago.

This. I’ve read about people who killed Soundless hundreds (if not thousands) of times until it dropped the mount, but for me it dropped on the 8th kill about a month or two ago. RNG is RNG

I honestly would have believed it if you said that about the Pandaria World Bosses’ mounts and their old drop rate, but I don’t know about Invincible. That’s some insane bad luck if you aren’t embellishing the whole thing.
I also don’t think the drop rate should be increased.
No it’s not. Each time you do it you have a .77% chance of it dropping. Your chance does not improve the more you do. You could do a million kills and still not have it drop. Basic probability math

RNG sucks too. My friend got the Headless Horseman’s mount on her first ever run of the event. It took me years to finally get it. Invincible still eludes me 
RNG is so weird in this game, most of the raid mounts I got with under 100 kills, MoP world bosses took forever and still working on Galleon.

well some stuff is rarer than others.
mop world bosses are .x % while raid mounts are 1%
they upped the drop rate of the mop boss mounts.

Nah I think it’s something like 1% now for the first kill per week, then much lower after that.
Hang in there, It’ll drop eventually. How many attempts per week do you do?
I got invincible on the first try didnt even know it was a mount until it dropped for me lol rng is rng
