Invincible is a problem

The only problem I have with Invincible is that it’s rear left leg shakes a bit when it jumps. It’s rather annoying, just a little glitch in the animation, it seems.

I hear you, and have a similar story. I was running ICC 10-15 times a week and I started it in Cataclysm when you still needed to group for it. I ran it nearly every week from 2012 until 2020 when I finally got it. My biggest issue with it came from learning it and the first time I mounted it. I didn’t realize how dated the model had become.

There was a time when I thought it was such an amazing looking mount, better quality than everything else in the game. But that was then, and this was 2020. The realization that it wasn’t new and shiny anymore hit me hard. I wondered why I had been wasting all my time farming something like that. It made me question if the game was also a waste of time. I lost all my motivation to collect digital things. I stopped farming old raids. Stopped collecting old armors. Eventually stopped playing all together for six months. All because of Invincible.

That’s not how it works. But I dont care if they make it 100%. Just saying.

Still don’t know why you guys want a mount if you can’t see it.

Wowhead says 0.77% and then displays an observed droprate of 1% (2,032/203,420) so idk where 0.77 came from. Just felt like pointing this out.

They drastically upped the drop rate last year for the 4 MOP world mounts. . I feel good for your chances now. I think it went from .001 to 1%. I know 1% seems low but I see many people getting it within 150-200 attempts since the buff. That was the case with me. i had only been lucky on Galeon before the buff (350) attempts, but got the other 3 within a 100-125 attempts after the buff.

increased from 1/2000 to 1/100, matching other mount drops.

OK, I stand corrected.

I’ve been farming these for years with no success, and have gotten all four since the increased drop rate.

There are lies, damned lies, and statistics. Your math is a model, not a real experience, not even a simulation.

The chance of a drop is 1% on the first kill, and 1% on the 10000th kill.

Now I don’t care that much about Invincible, but for a FACT I killed Anzu on ~20 toons every day for the better part of a year. I ended up buying the reins from the Black Market.

Invincible means it can’t be defeated.
Immortal means it can’t die.
Shame the joke flew right over your head.

It’s likely dropped every time. You just can’t see it. :dracthyr_a1:

can get it 100% if you do the mail quest

Not sure I’m familiar with that one.

mail quest in dalaran that spawns by the mail box

you loot the mount to give to quest person

Some people have been farming the Time lost protodrake and the Headless Horseman mount since they were introduced. They are very rare for a reason. I haven’t found the proto-drake but I’ve had the Horseman mount drop twice. Luck of the draw. Just keep plugging at it. You’ll get there. I see the arguments about if you REALLY farmed it 2600 times. To me, that doesn’t matter. It still hasn’t dropped so keep going!
