Invincible is a problem

No one here thinks you’re a bad person or anything. Just wanted to put that out there. You’ve been nothing but polite and trying to explain yourself. And that shows a lot of integrity and deserves respect.

Like I said, we all empathize with you. There’s always that one that drives us crazy. You’re not alone in that.

(This is a joke)

Great I go from liar to lying sociopath.

Took me 200 kills among a bunch of chars over a couple years. Makes it that much sweeter to get, in my opinion. Got mine in bfa and I still use it for many of my characters

geez - you tell me I am mistaken about something I am not offended - you tell me I am lying I find that very offensive.

I have no idea about sociopaths and what they think but we aren’t talking about sociopaths.

If Invincible is such a problem, why can I see him?

Same, really. I haven’t even bothered to visit the Sha or Nalak since the drop rate was buffed, because I already have so many of those squirrelly worm type mounts that I never use. They’re too big, they don’t land on the ground, and the wild flying animation is just too much. Same with those other mounts from Pandaria; I’d just never use them. And really, even when we’re talking “Hey, it’s a +1 to mounts for the achievements,” the mounts rewarded from those achievements don’t interest me much, so there it is. Even the Ottuk isn’t something I’d care about much.

I do use Invincible on my DK though, and I love it.

Ok but it more simply then.
The grass in my yard is purple, its not its actually green.
Was my intent to deceive you? No as I clarified the fact after it was green and no rational person would believe it to be purple.
So what was the intent? To prove a point that a lie does not need the intent to deceive in order to be a lie.

Was I referring to you? Or the concept of an action?

That’s a you problem.

you knowingly made a false statement to illustrate a point. the fact you clarified it to show it was an illustration means it wasn’t a lie.

I haven’t gotten Mimiron’s Head yet. This is clearly a problem. I expect Blizzard to rectify the issue by sending it to me in the mail immediately.

this isnt a mcdonalds, you dont drop $15 on the counter and say “One Invincible please”

You pay to play the game not to get whatever you want when you want it. Rarity is good for the game. I’ve farmed it since MoP and still no mount, I get discouraged and stop farming some times but the idea of it being rare isnt the problem

There’s nothing wrong with the drop rate on these. The problem is the long tail, the people who were horrendously unlucky. I think they should put in bad luck protection so if you reach the number of attempts that the drop rate suggests, you would get it on the next attempt, just like the Legion legendary bad luck protection.

Its was still a lie, a clarifed one but still a lie. Can break it down even simplier for you. Your body lies to you on a daily basis. This is why your perception of yourself in the mirror or the sound of your voice is different to yourself and how other perceive it. Hence why your voice sounds strange when you hear it back in a recording and think wow do I really sound like that. Can also go into traumatic experiences where the body will lie to itself in order to protect itself. Like a cut you don’t notice until you see it then it suddenly hurts or blocking memories. The internt isn’t to deceive its naturally occuring. Hence why all doctors carry the mantra everybody lies. Cause it’s true

I agree he lied. Idk if saying you body is lying to you about what you sound like when it’s physics that make the diff in sound you hear due to the projection of sound and where it comes from. But good point otherwise lol

Yeah but legion leggos had to do that because they were player power. Mounts really don’t need it. And I’m saying that as someone who still doesn’t have invincible.

This is irrelevant.

Why not? I don’t see an argument here to justify the fact that some players had to get 10k attempts on the Sha of Anger to get it when it was a 1:2000 drop rate that some players got on attempt 1.

Blizzard wants people to do new content to boost the participation numbers. Locking them indefinitely in old content keeps them from playing new content, even if they wanted to. And some people who are unlucky do burn out and give up entirely.

Did players legit have 10k kills with no mount?
