Introducing the WoW Variety Show!

Some of the replies here are bizarro world to me.

Like, do you think the people organizing and running the WoW variety show on the community team are the same people developing content?

That’s nice. Whatever. You gonna explain the change with the Slime Cat and LRF or nah?

That sounds like an IRL threat

I doubt the people who made this show have anything to do with what you want.

I agree but a blue post could still be made before hand to let us know we are heard.

Return what? It was neer meant to be on LFR, YOU assumed that. It was always on normal and up. Stop crying and begging and git gud. Do normal once and done.

Not interested at all in a show by the same company that only cares about their elitist players and kicking the casual/solo players to the curb why anyone would watch this trash is beyond me.

Perhaps they need to do some downsizing then and hire competent people to focus on game building and not on silly nonsense that makes them look foolish.

I’ve never understood the appeal of watching someone else play the game, whether it’s eSports things or… whatever this is supposed to be. :woman_shrugging:

But hey, I said a couple of days ago that I’d never been less interested in an upcoming “feature” (referring to dragonriding), and now look! Blizzard topped that with this. Go figure.

“Any difficulty” on achievements always means LFR is included. If they had fixed/clarified this months ago I feel most people would feel better. But they waited until days before the patch.

Let me do it I’ll make these Celebs look more out of touch with reality than they already are

So the article says it’s available to players in North America, but the official rules say that you can’t win prizes unless you are a resident of the United States. So North Americans outside the US can participate but would get nothing if they win? That’s disappointing.

WoW is not an E-sports.

Stop trying to advertise it as such.

why is it limited to normal or higher?

I agree, but like…

There’s nothing really e-sport related about this.

For glory and honor, a mix of renowned Warcraft Celebrity Contestants and chosen community members will go head-to-head as they compete in a triathlon of unique WoW activities.

Do we get a title for watching this one?

I dunno, I wouldn’t consider things like leveling speed contests and foot races to be e-sports, personally.
