It’s more because by the time it was out, Discord was already way too popular.
but only a small minority of community actually grouping for content everyone else just auto lfr/lfd
we see this every xpac a good surge of players at the start ,people fall behind, people quit because community sets up some absurd standard
ontop of you not able to play class you want to play because community deem it ‘‘not good enough’’ it fixes alot the hassles
only people not for the system literally just dont want anyone playing the game and would rather feel special because you arent inviting those players to your groups anyway
and they wont be able to do mythic level content with bots
nobody loses and they can also let players invite people replacing the bots too slowly filling in if they want
Because NPCs stink at it and if the content has to be easy enough to do with NPCs it shouldn’t have any meaningful rewards.
Now if you just want a story mode scenario to see the raid for completions sake and cosmetic only loot, I see no issue with that.
I dont know how they can even do that these days without forcing people to talk. like even in heroic dungeons people dont talk, its a bit sad. so I dont know if making them even harder would get people to talk cause some just leave after 1 or 2 wipes.
I know a lot of people wont want to hear it but really the only way I can think of to bring more social interactions into the game is to get rid of crz and sharding. if everyone knows people from their server again itll bring more social interaction into the game again, while you see someone from another server theres no real point to talking to them cause youll never see them again.
I think the only reason they exist in the first place (crz especially) is to mask that the game has lost a large portion of its playerbase over the years and blizzard refuses to merge servers for some reason.
as well as just zone bloat at this point. blizzard cant just keep adding new zones forever until crz eventually runs into the same problem as it was before without it.
this game isnt even hard tho the hardest part of this game is getting a group together lol unless you play one of top specs in which eve a mediocre player can get stuff done and rewarded
Perfect, if it’s that easy everyone should be able to engage in and get the rewards from the highest content.
I would also support improvements to the LFG tool to help everyone organize easier.
but its not the tools its the people you cant fit people wanting mythic gear for normal runs.
reference other thread kicking new players out in levelign dungeons LEVELING DUNGEONS for crappy dps while everyone else is heirloom’d up
this game is never going to recover to it former glory days at this rate
telling people play another game is not helpful and honestly you would make a poor business owner
The issue would be that it would have to be limited to only certain tiers of content. For example maybe normal or heroic 5 man dungeons but not Mythic+ or any raids. Then you could use it to complete quests in these dungeons for related quests.
But it would never work for anything more difficult then that.
It’s so easy to get into a guild or community now that most of the issues from pugs are avoidable.
The expectation has always been that organized groups are better. Pugs will do, but there’s always a higher risk of it going south.
A good business owner understands their customers, and also understands that their product isn’t going to be right for everyone. There’s a ton of ways to enjoy the content in wow, but if someone wants a single player experience, there’s simply better games for that.
even if you get in guild that doesnt stop them from ignoring you till raid time and only playing with their 3-5 friends when you need help the social aspect of wow is dead and never coming back ever
the game is single player now lmao you literally que up and never speak to anyone you know how many bots i see in lfr? half the raid on auto follow with only 5 people actually doing anything rest just auto attacking even as a mage ffs
Sounds like you need a better guild.
Interesting. It sure seems like I need other people to do a lot of stuff though.
Maybe you should try getting yourself out of queued content.
and your proposed solutions are the direct antithesis of it ever being like that again.
The reason people multiboxing was so they didn’t have to wait in hour long queues so they could be their own tank now multiboxing is being banned I see more reason for this
Sounds like you don’t want to play an MMO then.
I want to play I just want interactions with other people to be optional not mandatory
Then it sounds like you don’t want to play an MMO.
