The quest Into the Dunes is still bugged after three years? None of the workarounds work… This is beyond inept.
How is it bugged? Have you filed a bug report? Did you include more information than what you posted here?

Yes, yes, and yes. The bug has existed for three years (I mentioned previous workarounds). You cannot complete the quest, which means you cannot proceed quests into Voldun. It’s the same bug that has existed for THREE YEARS.
So you did alt+F4 when the cutscene started?

It’s not drivel. You didn’t specify what steps you actually did, just that you tried them all. What “all”? No one can read your mind.

In that case, what exactly did you hope to accomplish by posting in this forum? The Customer Support forum isn’t for feedback (which, if we were being gracious, we could categorize this post as such), or for venting (which is what this seems to be). For either of those, you would want the General Forum.
The only things that can be done here is you can be advised to file a Bug Report in-game or on the Bug Report forum. Edit to add - taking a quick look over in the Bug Report Forum, there’s three posts about the bug in the top 10 newest posts. You can add your voice to those and not even worry about opening a new one.
It would seem your fellow players attempting to help you troubleshoot your issues just leads to a volatile reaction.

You really haven’t provided much information.
So you tried a bunch of things from Wowhead and everywhere else listed. What specific steps are that? No one else was there when you did it. No one can read your mind. You are looking for help but aren’t actually giving enough information for others to help you. Then you are getting upset because I asked for more information.
If you actually want help it actually requires some more input from you.

That actually isn’t true. There was a bug that was introduced with patch 8.1.5 that is very similar to this one. As far as I can find, it was fixed within the first week. So no, it hasn’t existed for 3 years.
9.2.5 caused a number of issues with some NPC’s and quests, including a bug with symptoms similar to the one from 8.1.5.
Then, as now, it is being worked on. We hope to have it resolved as soon as it can be. The workaround is provided because it has worked for some. It may not work for everyone and we’ll need to wait for a resolution to be implemented.
I understand your frustration, Elhyas, but posting in the manner that you have towards your fellow players is not acceptable. They are simply trying to help and even if you feel their suggestions, advice and other discussion is not, there is never any reason to post how you have.
