Too many of them, it makes the game so frustrating to play sometimes, especially in battlegrounds.
You have classes with a silence and an interrupt. On top of that, a lot of other abiilities that aren’t even interrupts can stop you from casting.
Interrupts need the same treatment that was given to disarm effects. There needs to be much less of them, or give some sort of immunity to interrupts after successfully fake casting an interrupt.
Oh yeah! They do well at it. I don’t have a problem with them being tough. I have a problem with being chain silenced by a bunch of different players. It’s not fun at all. It’s not surprising so many people choose to play hunters.
Elo, Hunters are also susceptible to chain stuns, fears, banishes, chains, on and on. I believe it is mainly too much when in large combat groups, especially when you tag or kill the enemy healers
Is this post a complaint about getting kicked by multiple different people in bgs or having cc count as like pseudo-kicks in bgs?
Either way, I understand your complaint, but it’s bgs. That’d be like if I complained about naruto running into a ball of people and getting CC’d and blown up into next year.
The only thing that’ll really mess up your day is a Warrior/Monk/Rogue hopping on your face.
But if you’re standing in your deathball that makes you inaccessible, which is kind of the issue with MM. You can’t really approach them a lot of the time, so they just kind of turn you into a pincushion for free.
Ye. Probably just sitting there trying to get max frostbolt value during rune/deathborn/iceform/slick, which should obviously be interrupted. A 10-15k frost bolt on 3 people stings when they’re coming out every second.
Might try to position a little bit further back to more safely pelt away at the frontline and/or use some cosmetics that make you less…flashy? Big ice skeleton is eye-catching.
Absolutely not. What you’re asking for is the ability to stand around carelessly lobbing spells at everyone, and that’s not good for PVP. I can assure you I eat more CC than you’ve ever thought about in a BG as a healer, I’ve legitimately watched DPS spawn across the map on Twin Peaks and make a b-line right for me over, and over again. I’m not complaining, it’s part of the game.
We’ve already got MM Hunters allowed to play like apes, I don’t want to add casters to that list.
You can use the toy to make your character smaller. I guess that works for reducing the amount of aggro you get.
As for the position, they had a dk, so it doesn’t really matter. And the interrupts from hunters, mages and warlocks kind of don’t care where you’re standing. lol
DK’s and DH’s also have quite a bit of range on their interrupts. And most classes who do have an interrupt also have many instant range abilities to incapacitate you.
I just think interrupts are kind of redundant.
I’m not. I just think fake casting should be rewarded by giving the casters some momentum. Being given a 2 sec immunity to interrupts after dodging an interrupt would also make it easier for players to mess up. And therefore, making the gameplay feel less tedious, and more rewarding for casters.
So many hunters. But I guess it’s kind of fun when you can just press rapid fire and get like 40k damage out of it for free.
Oh yeah there are many silly things to avoid getting too much attention.
Something really dumb, maybe I’m just unlucky, but I’ve noticed that if I use blonde hair on my character, my stats are worst, because I get focused a lot more. XD
So when I want to kind of be sneakier, I use blue hair. With blue hair, I generally have more KB’s.
I’ll have to create an excel spreadsheet about it. hehe
Yeah, my buddy was swearing that I was nuts when I suggested having a “camo” mog that didn’t stand out in the battleground you were doing but after playing for a bit he noticed that you just aren’t as eye catching if you’re small and not sparkly.
i find the best way to be inconspicuous is to stand out as much as possible. people always suspect those who look and act dodgey, no one ever suspects the magnificent paladin shining in all its glory
On League of Legends, there was some talk about some skins being “overpowered” because their animations were harder to see, or that they could hide a lot more.
I think people like blonde hair, so they notice it more. And they want to show off that they can interrupt me for days.
Lmao. I think I’m going to create a Shadowlands noob outfit. I’ll look like one of those Oribos NPC, and nobody would expect me to do any damage. It’s a great plan! I’m not going to look or act dodgey at all.
my partner intentionally wears the questing greens set from shadowlands and the eternal traveler preorder set and he swears it makes people focus him less as a proud paladin i can’t relate
