Is anyone else having issues with this type of stuff or errors in general today?
1. Try a different browser. If you're using Chrome, try IE.
2. Sometimes antiviruses block it. You can temporary disable whatever antivirus you're using to see if that's causing an issue.
3. If all else fails, try it on your phone's browser with a network data connection.

All these are good first steps, and the first things I'd recommend as well.
And it can't be the antivirus, because it's never prevented it before, and it's one of those free things.
Tried my phone - still "Zounds! An internal error occurred. Try again a bit later. If you see this message repeatedly, let us know."
I've been doing this for an hour now. Should I just wait a few hours and try again?
Was that through your cell network, or through the same connection?09/15/2018 10:27 AMPosted by ThrogrippTried my phone - still "Zounds! An internal error occurred. Try again a bit later. If you see this message repeatedly, let us know."
Only other thing I can think of is if there are just barely enough funds to cover the transaction, or if your bank is possibly blocking the transaction.
Its January of 2020 and I’m having the same issue. Started on December 24th with the “Zounds” error. Support troubleshoot Says its either your browser or card issue. Either information or insufficient funds. None of these are the case. Due to the issue i sub’d to SWTOR while waiting for a response and card worked without issue.
Although friendly both ticket responses have been generic troubleshoot stuff nearly identical to what they have posted on the support page, none of which made any difference. Deleted history and cleared caches on 3 browser’s, used my cell phone with wifi disabled after clearing history and caches. Still same thing.
I’ve changed my password deleted my payment methods and payment address info ect and now not only do i get zounds but if i try to add a new payment method without making a purchase it says “Error” that’s it just error. Any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated.
TL:DR
I get the Zounds when trying to make a purchase and or error when adding new payment method. Plenty of money in my account and card worked with out issue for Swtor. Tried everything recommended after 2 tickets yet still same thing
Probably better to start a fresh thread, but I’m wondering if this could be a security issue. Normally that is fairly simple to trouble-shoot with another device, but something must be blocking this.
Live Chat will be open in a little under 2 hours, this may be something you want to Live Chat with a rep to trouble-shoot.
I have the same problem right now
Zounds an internal error occurred, Internal Server Error Woops something went wrong, Internal Server Error 500 are ALL Server Side errors. Neither the browser brand, nor the antivirus, nor anything else on the Client will cause any of those errors as they ALL post in HTML exactly the same. There is literally NOTHING that can be done on the client to remedy a 500 series error.
Please see my response above.
Someone on the back end web server has misconfigured the permissions or the security or patched the server improperly. Reconfiguring and then Restarting IIS or Apache or Tomcat or whatever brand of Web Server is running on the payment web server might fix the issue but that is something Blizzard must investigate.
As do I.
When people start saying stuff like this, that usually means they didn’t even try the steps suggested. If you did do them, just say they didn’t work and what other suggestions do you have. No need to get aggressive with blaming people.
And yet almost every single case we have seen here has been fixed on the client side. It is almost always security software causing the issue. So literally something CAN be done on the client side to fix the issue. With that said the Blue post you quoted give you the answer of what to do if those methods do not fix the issue.
For instance I get those kinds of errors on some websites when I use my Brave browser with all the option in the Brave Shield on. Once I turn them off the errors stop.
I also ran into this today. Did all the usual troubleshooting steps (you know I’m a regular, so you know I know them all). Disabled my firewall, deleted cache and cookies, disabled adblockers, logged completely out and back in. Tried three browsers on my PC (Firefox, Chrome and Edge), 2 browsers on my phone, and 2 more on my tablet.
Still can’t add a subscription.
I am having the same issue. Tried all steps mentioned, still not working.
Same issue, tried everything suggested, didn’t work.
Did you try clearing your account wallet and re-input the information? I have seen that work with some people.
Yes we are all having the same issue and have done all steps mentioned and still having problems so it can NOT be their side at all can it.
You are not helpful or kind, lol.
Then you would follow the steps that Orlyia posted and open up a live chat. This very well could be a bigger issue, however just getting those error messages doesn’t mean it is automatically a Blizzard server side issue like the poster is trying to say it has to be.
