I guess I’ll throw my opinion hat into the ring:
Shaw and Genn keep this from Turalyon not because they don’t trust him but instead simply because Anduin is still king and therefore outranks Turalyon. And the fact that Anduin appears to be deliberately keeping a low profile means that he doesn’t want to be found. That means informing Turalyon would indirectly be defiance of the crown.

If this involved any other important person, Turalyon would have been the first to know. But since it involves the one person who outranks Turalyon atm it’s being kept a secret.

This would be utter trash cause it only serves to take away MORE stuff from the Gilneans which they don’t need to have happen anymore than Blizzard already has.
