Integrity of WoW PVP, and by proxy: E-Sports

Blizz issues bans for swearing!
That’s about it. But rampant cheating and exploiting and never updating their maps and massive unbalances in the game….they don’t care. Do you know why? Because wow is full blown pay to win! They only care about all the m+ carebears who are buying tokens for carry and achieves

WoW lost ALL integrity… ALL raid content, all dungeon content is available for wow tokens, 24/7 staffed teams in trade chat to get you your loot desires…

And PvP is a motley crew of professional balding 40 year olds, who need to get you ratings so they can pay the rent.

Do whatever you want, its a race to the bottom folks Ubisoft AC shadows style… Dont worry though, Microsoft will ensure the suits fail Upwards so they never go without.

Think of it like the award winning Concord game, but with less nausea lol.

I have come to the conclusion that WoW is a whale farm.
If I was writing PVP scripts and making a fortune, I would bribe the authorities to look the other way. The authorities could ban a fall guy or announce banning a bajillion accounts without names to save face.

Dissappointingly, I appear to have been foolish to assume those authorities had the moral character to want a good PVP environment, instead of payola. Should I feel embarassment?

AITA?

Like i said i couldn’t imagine being one of those guys bumming at home all day exploiting dead pvp in a pve game for a pittance of money that wont really get you anywhere.

I don’t know what they make.

You expect the people that don’t even attempt to fix premades in quick match or queue abuse to actually care about the integrity of pvp? It has only gotten worse and no response, action or anything has been stated to combat the situation affecting entry level pvp. There is no hope for pvp in this game. People just need to understand that.

Thats why I want the game to be alive and tons of players come back, but at the same time I hope Blizzard gets a big AAA dose of Avowed, Concord, and S.squad Justice league. Now that Microsoft is here thats not gonna happen, the suits will fail UP, and the devs n staff of the game and the players are the ones who will suffer… They truly have become a big AAA evil company. No wander many good players and even big streamers quit and went to classic wow.

I hope they are saving that money, because I dont see this gravy train lasting forever.

im almost to the point where i dont think blizzard until the people beating 40s doors down stop harrasing 20 year olds when they feel like they wont be the special little snowlflake anymore if they have copetition

I think most of the older players are on classic but I dono, I mean its mostly adults w expendable income that fuels the game being a pay to win sweet baby inc masterpiece that it is… You never see Kotaku or IGN talking ill of Blizzard for a reason lol.

Also why I think swiping plastic for all end game rewards is here to stay, be a huge uproar if they rocked the boat. Blizzard cant do a ban hammer anyway, I mean the ladder would look terrible if a huge portion of it vanished lol. Corruption at Blizz would be top gaming news lol.

so it would go from a ladder to more of a stepstool?

Revo uninstaller just had an update, so I wanted to make sure its working and got wow off my hard drive lol.

Maybe wow will be better next year? Gaming News Sony just Purged SweetBaby Inc and all that kind of stuff off its company and games. Blizzard will change, or its doomed.

Elite Boosters own wow now, all the whales are leaving to better seas lol.

Pertaining to my own posts in this thread:

I’m not reading replies that contain 1 sentence twitter posts, and I don’t need to explain why, a normal human being will understand.

What I’ve said is true and the company has been alerted to it. The marketing campaign for World of Warcraft was a paid-in contract that was greedily misanalysed, and the company doesn’t actually like it for these reasons applicable, but the underground activity is very-much horrifying in contrast to what should just be a videogame campaign.

If you want to have a discussion on it I’ll speak to someone that doesn’t sound like an instagram comment bot.

The game’s pretty fun. They need to balance it properly. What I’ve said stands and is, in-fact, true. They’re either like every other MMO company or they’re being slandered by a portion that they can’t back out of due to legalities surrounding contractual obligations. - and that might be because they’re contracted to an entertainment circuit that’s fuelling rival MMO’s.

Guild Wars 2 had a community shut down for a bit because they were wondering why their e-sports play wasn’t predeveloped or predesignated and choreographed like WoW’s arena showcase. They wanted the same thing but, it might be because that potential team is already contractually obligated to work on WoW as their franchise by dual contract.

It makes sense even as a theory - Why wouldn’t you want to capitalize on what you’re already doing. Goal concept: Make your own game while managing the entertainment of another to fuel it. Unfortunately due to how Activision-Blizzard is, which is why they likely conjoined to Activision as likeminded platform to provide a ‘game suite’ alternative, is to make sure they can encompass a contract that stops them from being able to manage their own applicable e-sports showcase off of the revenue or pay from an alternative platform as that platform felt it to be unfair or unnecessary as potential disclosure of concept(s).

The early Guild Wars Factions hype was well-known to be parading around claiming they ‘had a platform’ ‘because of Warcraft’. It was very childish. It’s why you’re all on these forums plaguing the experience, right? Typical Canadian drama-garbage. This is almost enough business juice to fuel a soap opera spin-off.
