I had an idea for HC to help with the unfair deaths.
What if instead of perma-death you can respawn but you lose all the gold and items on your character? Also remove 10 levels of XP.
Wouldn’t this be better than completely losing the character?
You can choose to revive but lose everything or transfer off the server.
I think this would be more palatable to most people.
Blizzard is not going to put man power and resources determining if our deaths are fair or not, just have to face the reality of it , if you die that is it.
If you have ever played any hardcore before you would know all deaths count. Even if Blizzard comes to your house and unplugs your computer as you are being trained. There is no reason or excuse to undo hardcore death. It is what it is. Take it or leave it.
I have a better idea, go play another mode.

Also you lose all your experience, but games easy am I right? No problem getting that back.
The only deaths i could see blizzard ever undoing is griefer caused deaths where the griefer was reviewed and found greifing. Even then its not really something i think will happen, but if any deaths are undone, thats the only ones i wouldnt be upset about.
I have lost 2 characters to hyperspawns so far, almost a 3rd. And while i am upset at the deaths it taught me not to trust others as they will save their own skin over helping you love as well eveb if it wouldnt have put them at risk and yes i was grouped with them.
There are no unfair deaths.
Maybe it should have taught you to pick better groups.
There is no “perma-death”. You can transfer to another server and go on about your merry levelling. You’ve lost nothing except rights to have that toon on the HC server.
Why are you people here with your terrible ideas to destroy hardcore? Go play softcore then delete you characters only when you feel death is fair?

It’s one of those situations where the most fair option is the least fair option, if that makes sense.
I will group with people i know for more dangerous spots. But i will only pug for safe “kill X monsters” now.
Not going into hyperspawn locations with pugs though.
I’m trying to save HC but if you want it to die, just keep it how it is.
