Instead of Earthen - Mogu

No, they added a female Rajani back in BfA as well. That was what initially made me think they might become an allied race back then. Because it so specifically went against the previous lore of the twins in throne of thunder, where they were supposedly the last female mogu.

Anyway, I’m not disputing there’d be work involved. But it’s work I would like them to do.

And I’d like nothing more then for them to make playable alliance vrykul and give me more high elfy hair options that look like I actually wash my hair, but the former wouldn’t fit this expansion theme and the latter can happen whenever. Yea it’s be nice if they did this level of work but it would take some time . . . a lot of time.

Also I think that female rajani is just a recolor of one of the bosses . . .

I think they look good. And yes anybody who thinks devs will completely change the allied race of TWW when quests and story of the expansion are entwined with the theme of the expansion… well those people are outside their minds!!!

No one thinks they will. I just think they should.

Yes please!! :dracthyr_love_animated: :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated: :dracthyr_heart:

I really want this race as playable race. I even made a thead for Rajani Mogu as playable race. Neutral seems to be the best option with all we got about the previous playable races. :dracthyr_nod:

I don’t think they should. It would require too much work. I rather an expansion be sooner rather then an extra 1 to 2 years of drought waiting for a complete rewrite

They don’t have to change the plot at all. We play through it as already planned, but then at the end we get mogu as an allied race instead of earthen.

Wouldn’t be the first time the allied race we unlock has nothing to do with the story we played to unlock them. Look at void elves.

2/4 new zones are already created with dwarf assets

We’re getting earthen whether you like it or not

No, they said that they want the allied races to make sense now. They are done adding allied race just because. And mogu would be a just because, because they don’t make sense for WW

To be perfectly fair to Blizzard, these earthen models look higher effort than Lightforged, High Mountain and Void Elf.

You reckon? They just look like dwarves with gems in their skin to me. They look nice, sure. But like how dwarves with cool customisations look nice.

My biggest beef with them is that they are called earthen, but still just have hair. Like full fledged, post curse of flesh dwarves. If they had the stony beards like most of the earthen we’ve seen before, I’d be down to clown.

Lightforged are just draenei with yellow eyes. Which, I may add, normal draenei can also have as of the last customization sweep. A normal draenei can pull off a very convincing Lightforged immitation.

Also we have terrible, terrible racials. Possibly the worst. Not material to the subject at hand, I just like bringing it up.

Ok fair, I didn’t actually address your point that they are more effort than lightforged. On that I do agree.

I’m not saying they’re high art, but they’re definitely higher effort than the generation one allied races.

To be fair, I remember gilgobins were scrapped. Although they weren’t announced and vulpera were the possible alterative with the reputation and zone. You can still visit the unshackled that joined the horde at bladefist harbor in durotar. :scroll::robot:

the mogu just make me sad about Ra-den. Dude couldn’t catch a break. But if we brought back Tyr maybe we can bring back Ra-den? Maybe…?

Seriously, give this guy a freakin’ Break…

I’d trade Earthen for any other race. I’m not saying not to add Earthen, I’m sure there’s a couple people excited from the, but, yeah, give me anything else. Hell, I’d even prefer gilgoblins over Earthen, and I don’t want gilgoblins at all.
