Not sure if this is supposed to be added in the prepatch or not but currently mail is not instant between characters on the same account on PTR. It was added in BC, it would be nice if they added it in the prepatch too
Sure it would be but it’s only 2 weeks. They’re not gonna change something that will fix itself in 2 weeks.
Can you send instant mail on beta?
CE servers (Classic Only) don’t get the pre-patch, and don’t get any old BC features. Those servers stay in Vanilla.
So it isn’t “waiting”. It is “not implementing a BC feature in Vanilla”.
What? They were talking about prepatch not now. Current servers will be tbc in prepatch. Op said nothing about it being in vanilla.

Instant mail between your own characters is definately not in the beta nor in the prepatch, i have tested both. It should be as instant mail was a feature of TBC. 1 hour mail between your own chars is a bug or at least an oversight. I have posted a bug report on the beta forums and submitted a report on the PTR.
The PTR is open to everyone. If you copy a character real quick and file a bug report as well, it might get fixed sooner

Well i know it was implemented later into TBC (2.1.2 or something like that) So later in BC than when it originally launched, but i know we are starting at a later patch also. SO technically it SHOULDN’T be in prepatch, but would be nice if it was lol
