I’m from Peru, our connection ain’t the best, not by a long shot, but i’ve been playing fine for 2 months. Yet since this Tuesday weekly reset, the game has been absurdly laggy (over 400ms at its lowest and 8000 in instances)
I talked to my internet provider and they managed to fix the connection, which made the outside world ping go back to normal (104± is normal to me)
Yet now, whenever i enter an instance, doesn’t matter which (legion start scenario, dungeon, raid, etc) the world connection goes up up up to the starts: 999-5647-8000ms, it becomes literally unplayable.
I checked the “what to do” list and it said “untick the box of Improve Connection”, which helped a little for instances but increase the ping for outside world, but now the game is skipping. Like the connection runs at 130ms world but the game itself seems to be skipping beats. My GCD is over 3 seconds since after every cast, the game takes forever to perform my next action.
I have to say again, I’ve been playing for over 2 months, so I do know what a smooth run looks like, and this is most def not smooth. Plus, it is wow exclusive, the rest of things run accordingly, it’s just WoW in instances that goes to Pluto in ping
I have also disabled all my Addons, increase priority in Task Manager, connect directly to the Router (ethernet), nothing seems to fully solve the issue. This is my normal connection speed: http :// prntscr . com/za6fem
