Read the post again… It literally states the Celestial style dungeons will essentially replace the LFR and be able to do the legendary quest chains and get LFR style gear. So you do those to gear your alts, same system just in a dungeon aspect instead of a raid aspect.
This is why the people who don’t want LFR don’t want LFR. When over half your raid is afk with this mentality it becomes more of a chore than an interesting and fun task to do. Not to mention the queue times… lord the queue times for LFR just to get queued into an instance that already had 3 or 4 bosses down?
LFR has never been optional until they removed tier sets from there. The whole design relied on raiders to carry the group, otherwise you just couldn’t kill anything in LFR. They had to introduce determination stacks when raiders had their gear…
I just can’t wait for this new “Accessibility” feature to fall flat on its face just like the original thoughts behind Heroic Dungeons when Cataclysm first launched more than a decade ago.
Instead of keeping MoP true to its “Classic” Moniker, we now have MoP 2, now with H+ dungeons. Replacing the accessibility to the Raids LFR provided to the normal player.
The vendor for twilight dungeons has more than just tier it has all the LFR gear. Gurthalak, the belt and the trinket were all better than Firelands heroic gear. There were no good belt in Firelands for me so that was a decent upgrade as I was still using a 370 one I think.
