Instanced Content Updates in MoP Classic

Unsubbed. :frowning:

Which is different because it’s like 3-4 dungeons to cap (assuming at least a normal raid clear) vs 30+ dungeons that people did to get all their tier etc. And in actual MoP people did scenarios for valor cap, not dungeons.

Boo!!! Why do you guys keep listening to the sweaty elitists over casuals?!

If you want to do the raid on easy mode why not just run it on retail?

you don’t seem to get it, you get to play different types of content, not just the same over and over

So much for an authentic experience.

LFR in no way prevents organized group play, it’s literally not a replacement for normal mode+ raids.

Oof, they thought they were cooking, but they themselves became cooked. I give them credit for trying though.

Because… someone wants to do it on the MoP version of the game…? Classes and gameplay is very different between retail and MoP, an optional choice for progression on a MoP character probably feels more fun than having to log out and do it on a different version of the game

LFR isn’t progression, just hit a target dummy and play the boss on a YouTube video on your second monitor for the exact same experience

Liar, blizz. Loading screen tooltip says there is a raid finder

Exactly it doesn’t replace regular raiding, it’s that mindless kill an hour or whatever and get some gear.

You know kind of like questing.

I’m not sure how many dungeons I did on my main but it didn’t take 30 on my mains I’m pretty sure. I farmed a weapon, a belt and a trinket and only did the trinket with the 2nd week reset. I didn’t need more.

It reduces the incentive, so yes it does.

It’s not even like it’s super overpowered gear, it’s marginally better gear for casuals and people who are limited to LFR to have a bit of fun playing a game they enjoy. I’m pretty amazed at all the people so against a feature, that could easily co-exist with this Celestial system, that is also entirely optional. Letting all players enjoy the game would’ve been a better move imo

Except it doesn’t, it’s not the same experience or drops as regular raiding.

It isn’t them listening to any type of player, they just don’t want to allocate time into fixing LFR when the dungeons weren’t poorly received. A lot of players enjoy knowing they’ll get the piece their farming for rather than slor machine lfr

I don’t care about the gear. I want to be able to do story mode raids on multiple characters, which is what LFR was.

Removing LFR isn’t going to make people want to raid.

They’ll just play something else.

nobody likes the iterated on dungeons, they just do them because they have to because the best easily obtainable gear goes there.

it completely kills raids past their currently active tier; the only raid that didn’t die is firelands due to the staff.

seems more like a convenience move to save development time than a decision for the game or people playing it
