reddit post had the info removed. so either the op deleted it or mods deleted or blizz told them to delete to hide the info. my bet is blizz told the reddit mods to delete it so they could try to continue hiding how bad the layering exploiting is

your reddit post has been removed from the front page of /r/classicwow. you can still view minus all the info you posted if you have the direct link but its not viewable anywhere else so you might have been shadow banned on reddit.
Hopefully they ban everyone abusing it… When I discovered it I immediately came here but most people will exploit because blizz is afraid to lose streamer $$$.

Just saw on discord that a guild has two of it’s warriors with both bindings from this, and they just need the Elementium for the TFs. GG Blizzard.

Sad… The fact that they are removing the steps to recreate it just shows that they aren’t going to punish anyone abusing this. I also knew Blizz would fùck up classic some how. No one wanted layering what a joke.

That’s probably a troll. Bindings have such a low drop rate you’d have to spend DAYS just killing rag over and over. They’d 100% be banned.
This is what happens when you don’t test your game.
I’m probably going to quit and I want a refund. There’s no way to track down all the gold and items gained from this exploit.

No one will get even a slap on the wrist, because that would touch the streamers, and Blizzard is afraid of them. The inmates run the asylum.
I wonder if anyone at Blizzard is really bummed about this. Their game is basically being held hostage by an army of clowns who don’t understand it and more or less hold it in contempt.

This exploit deals with layering, which is the WoW classic version of ‘Sharding’ which wasn’t introduced until version 6 of the game (the Warlords of Draenor expansion)
So no, ‘This’ hasn’t been in the game since classic. This isn’t running out of the dungeon, forcing a reset, and re-clearing, this is getting to the boss room, adding someone from outside the run into your party, and changing the layer… and doing this WILL cause you to be acted against, by Blizzard.
Doesnt look like a billion dollars company product. Sad and broke the game in a certain way, first people got advantage for leveling and now to get lots of loot, there os no way to track all of them. Thanks Blizzard.
Is there any type of response from Blizzard regarding this exploit? This is devastating to the economy and the essence of the game.

Yeah this happened to me a few days ago. I was in SM, very overleveled and farming green elites for a little xp/money while exploring. I had left the bosses up, but cleared all the trash leading to them. Someone asked for 1 more to join their group, so I did. When I joined their group, everything in the instance respawned on me, while I was standing there. I phased into a new instance due to the group invite but I stayed right where I was at in my own instance prior to joining. I was a little annoyed at the time because I had cleared my version of the instance of trash so that the group could clear it faster. I guess I was phased to the group leaders layer and my layer was abandoned.
