Insanely lopsided servers are not fun

i’m on a server (whitemane) where it’s 90% horde and 10% alliance roughly, i’m on the alliance. it is frankly almost impossible to level in pandaria as i have counted the amount of times i have been jumped so far (and i’m lvl 87), 17x by multiple players, 16x solo by people overleveling me with way better gear.

i’m not a good player, i barely play mmo’s let alone pvp in one, this is the first time i ever got this far in any mmo and it’s just making me want to quit since i am not paying $25 to change to a different server, that’s a stupidly high amount of money for an issue that i didn’t cause and leveling an alt in order to fix this problem on another server is just annoying.

I have no clue why blizzard didn’t merge servers, this is an extremely unfun experience.

Last time Blizzard enforced faction balance people threw endless fits over “not being able to play with their friends”

then atleast let me transfer out of the server without needing to pay the cost of deltarune ;/ would’ve happily paid $5 to transfer but $25 is just an insane cost

Thanks corporate greed!

That’s just a BS excuse and anyone with a brain knows it.

What isn’t BS though is if the playerbase actually did want balanced factions, we all would be on Grobb. But we aren’t.

I am glad to see the problems that made Blizz kick pvp servers to the curb on retail still exist in classic. They will do nothing to fix it, either transfer or suffer i guess lol.

You rolled on a PVP server

don’t remember causing a 90/10 split

No it’s literally what happened. I was there for it, anniversary servers aren’t that old

War Mode and cross-faction zones with War Mode on is the only real solution to PvP server balance issues. That way people who want to gank and be ganked can be put into balanced shards and people that feel like questing without being ganked can turn it off.

You simply can’t force faction balance across servers and despite the tiny minority that believes being locked into PvP forever is a lifestyle choice, the game is much better off and healthier with War Mode accessible across servers.

I’m on the same boat. I don’t understand why servers are like this despite being a PvP server. Blizzard is so f- greedy. The whole server population situation is completely killing my vibe.

Edit: New Blizzard staff do not want to help you or be personal with you. What a shty way to treat long time customers.

Did you pay for the faction change or did you roll as pandaren 3-4 weeks ago? Since a transfer is too costly for you, you must have leveled. Therefore you rolled on an already 90/10 (coulda sworn it was 99/1) PvP server and went with the minority faction.

PvP happened on a PvP server. Your fault.

i rolled there instantly, did not know it was a pvp server, nor did i know what the faction numbers were. sorry that i didn’t check everysingle variable before playing a video game, truly this is my mistake.

I mean, faction numbers are one thing, but there’s really no excuse for not knowing what type of server you’re rolling on

true, there is no excuse for that, but regardless $25 for a server transfer is nuts

While you may not have looked up what the population was - or asked anyone ahead of time - you certainly were told by Blizzard on the creation page that it was a PvP server. Even if it was 50/50 you would be ganked plenty while leveling too.

My advice is, if it’s a game with PvP and you don’t like it (I don’t), then you should ask questions first before investing time into a character.

I will have popcorn on order for tbc prelude when that happens and again. Probably even worse.

Blizzard i’s been 3 weeks…I cant make a blood elf. I see that thread coming up alot really.
