If you insist on putting content on Timeless Isle for the Timewalking event (why, btw…) can you at least make a sane flight path to the island?
I’m sick of flying a mile in the opposite direction to Dawn’s Blossom in order to get there. And I can’t even just fly myself there without FPs.

You can buy a trinket that lets you port directly to the island.
Really? What is the name of it the trinket and where to get it?
You can always fly there on your own.
So I should farm a MOP rep (which I already have the vanity rewards for on my main) with any toon I want to turn in the Timewalking quest on?
Orrr we could just have a flight system that doesn’t look like it was designed by Mardivas…

It’s like you have a solution ingame that require you playing said game but don’t want to.
Flight paths are the intended solution to flying places.
I already played “farm the Shaohao rep” bud.
And you can use fly paths to get there, if you want to.
But no it’s not the “only solution” to get to places xd

Yeah, this. Not sure why OP thinks you can’t. Just gotta be a bit careful with where you’re going to land or from how high, and most classes have some means of dealing with falls anyway.
Why not just fly there yourself? You may not be able to fly on the timeless isle, but you can still fly most of the way there before dropping into the water.
I love how for years and years and years people have complained about the crazy routes some flightpaths take, and Blizz started going through to fix that and make them more direct… and now here we are, people making fun of someone because that flightpath goes in a stupid direction.

Just never turn in the quest from chromie that sends you there initially and you can just use the teleport.
Yup, this is what I do.
The flightpath clearly isn’t the problem, I should just go back in time and de-hand my quest into Chromie.
Really though… some people LIKE problems in WoW or something. Like it gives them a sense of pride that they’re ok with it.
His solution is really better. Having your bags full of junk in order to make the game decent to play isn’t a good fix.
It actually is the same thing as they are doing with character abilities. Instead of giving them to the characters, they make you go and get a bunch of gear and grind for essences in order to have the abilities that make your character decent to play.
That’s not much of a problem - more of an annoyance. That flight path is long but it’s perfect for doing afk tasks. There’s also the underwater cave teleport from Draenor right to Timeless. It’s not hard to get there.
Agree that it’s an annoyance, but it’s a constant annoyance that takes like 5 minutes to fix. I don’t think it’s that hard to add a FP route to the game.
And I don’t think any feature should be looked at as “it is a good opportunity to AFK”… maybe just me tho.
