So i cant finish Innovating the Engine because i click the bottle essence instead of waiting for the extra action button and a ticket is like 3 days out what should I do dropping the quest and taking it again doesnt work
Wait on your ticket.
Do you have your extra action button hidden by the UI? I know that is often the perpetrator here. If you go into edit mode and make sure to move it to the side of your bars or some such, that makes sure that it’s not locked behind other elements.

Another thing you can try is to reset your UI. That cures most woes if moving the extra action button to be more easily accessible doesn’t do the trick.
