I’m asking because I am curious just how far his outrage extends… is he just outraged at Blizzard for their actions because… Blizzard. Or does he hold other companies to the same flame.

I think most people’s reaction is something like “Okay. We’ve seen this movie how many times before? I think I’ll wait to pass a moral judgement until we have more FACTS”.
You might want to keep in mind that we have a ‘by-the-hour’ news cycle. It’s no longer even news so much as Infotainment. So you see a thing, you react to it, and if people don’t immediately agree with you, you feel cheated out of a tiny Dopamine rush.

This is not a criminal case
There will be no innocent or guilty
Blizzard will bargain with the lawyers and pay a big sum in the end.

THing is this isn’t a trial about guilt or innocence no one will be going to jail after a decision is reached in this trial . It may happen if there are any criminal filings and that is a separate thing. This is to determine whether or not if Blizzard Entertainment / Activision Blizzard will have to pay restitution for violating California laws in regards to equal employment and if they have to pay restitution to victims and if so how much .
It is a lot easier to convince 51% of a jury in a civil case then 100% of one in a criminal case where guilt and innocence beyond a reasonable doubt actually apply.
