State departments aren’t flawless bastions, they too can make oversights and mistakes (California has a bit of a track record of being overzealous over certain accusations.)
People lie, they’re not flawless. Not everyone lies but i’m sure you’ll have a few inside that could be lying. However, that’s up to the courts decide.
If every one quit every thing in the world due to the horrendous things people do, we’d all be in a bubble and live on nutrient paste in isolation. Bad things happen at companies all across the world. I guarantee you that you eat from a company that has had or has employees that have done detestable things. You’re a hypocrite if you believe otherwise.
You gotta have a little bit, a very little bit, of respect for Jussie. To this day, he’s still sticking to his story. That takes some real guts, and a bit of stupidity, to do that after everything we know.
No… because no one would be making the nutrient paste… eventually the suffering of people would become a rally point and those people would gather and form their own society… making pizza and sammiches.
I can’t… I just can’t. He pulled the same stunt that Susan Smith did… (if you are not familiar with that case… read up on it but be forewarned… you will be mad… you will be angry)
The scarier thing is that there are media personalities still saying this happened to him…
Guts? No… it’s not like he going to face physical ramifications for his actions really… in a few years he will be some bit actor on some Hallmark/Lifetime-esque channel and we will be like… Juicy Smallhead who?
“Innocent until proven guilty” isn’t something Blizzard believes in.
Just look at their recent actions with Kael’thas’s voice actor and Swifty. Blizzard was quick to excommunicate them the instant they were accused, excising their content from the game without waiting to see if the allegations were true or not.
It would be hypocritical of Blizzard to expect to be held to a different standard, so they should be treated as they have treated others and should be assumed guilty. This is especially true when the allegations are coming from the government itself after a 2-year investigation.
