What is it about the concept that legal cases and verdicts are entirely separate from public opinion that you folks don’t understand. OJ Simpson may have LEGALLY been found not guilty of murder, that doesn’t mean most reasonable people aren’t allowed to believe he was, in fact, guilty, and make him a societal pariah because of it.
I know they aren’t yelling in anyone’s face. They’re doing it comfortably from their computer chair.

I’ve never said “innocent until proven guilty” on the forums, up until this very post right at this moment.
And it is true that 1 in 4 will admit to a crime they did not do given a rough enough interrogation, and I was responding this to the person who asked if people have given false confessions.
I don’t know what point you were attempting to make.
Regardless of the point you failed to include, this won’t even make it to court and will be settled.
Where is it written down that people have a right to “not be ostracized”??
