Wowhead has an article up right now in which they say Blizzard has confirmed that Alex Afraisabi was investigated and fired due to their findings.
There is now very little room for doubting that he, at least is guilty.

Thats not what was stated. What was stated was “at blizzcon” not private parties. So one has to assume that this guy was going around, at Blizzcon (because that was the words used), and groping people.

Those Private areas are where the private rooms for Blizzard higher ups to stay in and use.
The general admin attendees are not allowed in those areas without a direct invite or escort.
