I saw some forum posts of people complaining about holy paladins hojjes and warriors kicking spells with ineffable truth, so I figured I’d buy four of them. I’m now at 150% for the duration, but to be honest I haven’t noticed it changing too much. It feels a little bit better but not amazing. I’m a bit worried I just blew a lot of my echoes when I could’ve bought % increases. What do you guys think of ineffable truth?

I still have enough echoes for one more, should I buy it for 180%?
Things that got clipped are usually lucky streak procs, but you should keep buying it for the memes tbh.

You got baited by bored forum people hyping it up because of 1 or 2 twitch highlights of it. The 12% versa and 12% mastery amp aren’t out yet so a lot of people are without their bis and just experimenting.
Go look at what Vanguardz is doing guarantee hes hard stacking Versa as a Ret so he can actually play the game without insta flopping. Pretty much every other meele spec will need to do the same.
I did a run on a target dummy and out of a 4 minute encounter it only was up for 15% of the time, right now I would definitely say it’s not worth the 3300 memento cost.
I shall be farming more echoes then I suppose.

Still top corruption and its good for baiting procs.
imo its ganna be insane for rmpal or comps that have a hard time with tanky teams cuz hpal runs blinding light rather than short hoj, and u literally can hoj blind every minute or even 50 seconds if u get good procs rather than every 1.5 mins. Other than that ur hoj is just ganna come back up when hes still on dr and ur just ganna hoj DR anyway so might as well wait.

Its already the nerfed number, before the nerf its usually the top dps/corruption rating by miles.

where is this from and in what setting? is this just a pure single target dps chart? is it an actual fight sim or just a pre rendered one for calcluating what it will be like post nerf? because that has low correlation for what will be good with arena.
Gushing wounds does 16,350 damage now, from 1 piece. A 35% nerf will make this do ~11,000 damage.
16,350 x 3 = 49,050
11,000 x 5 = 55,000
Gushing wounds right now, at 2-3, does maybe 35-40% of your damage? The vendor allowing players to access more gushing would cause it to do 60-80%.
5 Gushings, with 2 versa stats, will probably be worth more than (x5) versa stats because it just won’t account for 35-40% of your damage.
Bottom line is, your abilities actually do no damage. mages, locks and shamans work off gimmicks, everyone else will still rely on corruption to dps.
im not saying ur wrong, but I have consistently seen the top players disagree with this opinion. Here is one example. I havent been on TR so my opinions are just guessing. But I do not think doing more dam = winning more arenas
Specifaclly for burst comps, vers will make set ups way more scary. For instance imagine an RMPriest where instead of all of them having 20% vers they all have 45% vers. Same thing goes for a lot of other comps.
At the same time, vers makes you heal more and tankier. I just dont really see the upsides of gushing unless you are on a DH because of the azerite trait that gives you insane haste after eyebeam.
From personal experience I can give an example. I played supatease livelord guardian druid FDK rsham twice the other day. Once was with flarkness who has 45% vers and one was with another dk I cant remember. The flark game was 2550mmr. We stood no chance because our kill window is swapping between dk and rsham. Since dk took no dam in down time swapping him almost accomplished nothing. In constrast to that, when we played them with the other dk at 2650mmr we came super close to winning (a reaping flame proc broke a game winning fear on rsham and he got link off D=). The big difference here was he had normal vers and actually took dam.
Again not saying this is 100% accurate, but id put my money on what these guys say. Ex:

curious why you’d even take the 1 vers amp since mastery is just better vers for locks

also curious why you’d throw gushing on wws over vers
