Easy solution to the problem of players systematically abandoning games.
The first time you desert a game, 15 minutes. Then 30, 45, 60, 75, and so on, until you finish a game and reset it back to 15.
If that doesn’t work; 30, 60, 120, 240.
Per account, not per character.

People have lives, and these are random Battlegrounds.
Things happen that are unseen, and there is no need to judge why IMO.
They wouldn’t be affected by it too negatively, unless “unseen” things keep happening mid-BG. Finishing a game would reset the stacking, after all.
This would only affect people who desert at the first sign of trouble, and twinks like you.

Sounds like a nifty project, hopefully it works out for you.
It’d be nice for max PvP, but it’s not really necessary.
A great solution was already implemented, the two brackets twinks are throwing their fits in are an acceptable sacrifice until they get tired and take a nap.

This is getting to be pretty hilarious, they are always going to find something new to complain about. I thought separating the queues was supposed to solve everything?

Here is the problem… you are… are you honestly just leveling though the 19s bracket with 20 different toons EACH DAY???
How are you still even affected by anything… if you just kill some wolves in the woods and do some random dungeons you should be to 60 in honestly 1 day… how is this even a problem for you?
These kids and their whining is CRAZY!

Personally I’ve been seeing tons more whining from twinks, but maybe that’s just me.

What about before Tuesday?

I suppose I should have said lately.
XP On Levelers got to stick it to a community that posed a temporary inconvenience by getting permanent restrictions placed on them. Of course they’re vocally happy and twinks are vocally unhappy.

If you think the complaining on these forums did anything, then boy do I have a bridge to sell you. This place just got it’s third blue post a few days ago, and it’s because they thought there was a bug.
They were only reintegrated because of templates, and without templates they shouldn’t have been there. Blizzard more than likely forgot, and remedied that.
EDIT: I misremembered. Three total blue posts.
They didn’t forget, they neglected it until a noise was made about it. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

That must be a proud walk.
Is it tinfoil hat time?
There’s been “a noise” made about twinking since at least October. If they were just caving in to complaining why wouldn’t they have done it sooner?
It’s more likely they just never look at the BG forums, what with the three blue posts total since the new forums. All multiple months apart as well.
You’re speculating just as much as I am, so if I’m donning a tinfoil hat, they better have one that fits a dog’s head.

I’m saying what I believe is most likely. You’re saying what happened.
There’s a difference.
That’s just because Blues couldn’t care less about how players chat about how players actually play and even less about your whining about it.
This change literally was a bug but they decided it was easier to leave it then fix it. So it became a new “feature.”
There’s really only one side whining right now…
