Tripling nothing is still nothing.
Youâd be smarter to be fixing Gear drop rates, stuff anima.
Yeah, Anima is the issue. I really want to get back to PvE content now. Good job. /s
so basically weâre forced to play pvp if we want loot. time to try out some other games
Yeah, these changes donât cut it.
This one is about a pathetic increase to anima acquisition that helps no one.
So yeah, itâs a pathetic increase that helps no one. Thatâs all.
Anima? Seriously? What a slap in the face.
Blizzard is more out of touch with WoW, than Gamigo is with Archeage Unchained
It looks like clearing Nathria should finish the reservoir weekly now. I appreciate less WQ grinding for the next few weeks.
Iâm still not seeing a good path to finishing the sanctum upgrades in a reasonable amount of time though, let alone getting mounts and other covenant items.
It looks like clearing Nathria should finish the reservoir weekly now.
Whatâs left on the renown list â itâs just soulbind traits, followers and cosmetics yea? Might start skipping the weekly quests at this point, just use the catch-up in a month.
Wow they took getting 35 anima instead of getting decent number of loot drops as us complaining about not getting enough anima.
There heads must just be far enough up to do self colo-rectal exams.
Thatâs why I said its needs to be revamped and stretched out more. Not just the loot, but the scaling also.
Anima and the covenant quests line is a quick way to get alts around ilvl 200
Youâre right, but people doing +10 keys or heroic raid should already be 200
yeah, iâm talking fresh alts. Use the AH to get around 170 then the covenant campaign to get around 200
Thank you for all of your feedback on this!
Iâm just not sure what to say about how out of touch this is. Yippee 35 to 70 (or 105) anima, thatâll get everyone pumped. If it was, I dunno, 50 PER KEY LEVEL or something along those lines people might care.
I got 4x35 for doing flappy bird in 30 seconds last night, whatâs the time and skill investment in that compared to a +15. You guys just âŠ
PVP always has been giving more consistent loot, and i prefer it this way.
itâs been 3 expansions since pvp actually were an additon to the game and a thing, it killed of a big portion of the game for a long time.
Also 8/10 times the loot you get from PVP is really bad in pve.
Now you can claim certain specs stack vers for a bonus has advantages with some pvp items. and this is not bad. this is a good thing as for both pve and pvp players thereâs a aspect to actually do both versions of content, but you donât feel forced to.
Also for it to be even the least decent you have to r each 2100 rating , which at the point it gives, is not worth the time investment or not close to where player whoâs main focus is pve will reach.
Youâre also not as a pvp player gonna go in with Glad gear into mythic raiding. Itâs just not gonna happen. You can, but youâre going to underpeform hard.
Gear as of right now is more than good enough.
A currency we could use to buy anima for would be a favorable approach.
I think anima should gradually increase as we gain more renown/grow stronger
just what we want more anima! because you know, nothing as rewarding as timing a high key or killing a hard boss after countless wipes just to receive more anima⊠yayâŠ
time to try out some other games
I just wrapped up the weekly D&D campaign that I run over roll20. Not only do I drop better loot, but I also write better story too
Iâve been enjoying the prep-work I do on my campaign more than I do anything in WoW other than raiding.
âŠgranted, thatâs about normal, but Iâm also usually an alt-fiend and I just canât be bothered to do more than 2 characters this expansion. Partly because of how much less loot you get in M+ making gearing more effort than itâs worth, but also because of general imbalances between the covenants limiting choice when they should be opening it way up.
All of my favorite covenant choices are like the worst choices I could make, and I refuse to min-max. But part of me hates making the wrong choice because I feel like Iâm being punished for wanting to play the game the way it was intended which is backwards.
Some of us collectors want more anima, kthx.
Maybe we would like to invest a little time in getting items that we will care about longer than a couple months while youâre complaining about loot youâre gonna toss in two months hence, lol.
The only problem is that their âmore animaâ only applies to M+ and raiding, something collectors donât normally do, especially the more casual types, and even then the buffs are pitiful.
Swing and a miss, its not lack of anima that is driving people away.
Two months in and my raid group has already lost 7 raiders due to lack of loot/reward for effort put in to both raid and M+.
With the current iteration, some people are literally going weeks with no drops and then the issue is exacerbated when the vault options are junk as well. This isnât fun for anyone and needs to be addressed.
Protip: Different people play the game for different reasons;
Casuals are angry that thereâs SO. MUCH. ANIMA. GRIND. to get all of those nice mounts, pets, and transmog items that you also have to spend weeks of reputation/renown grinding to unlock.
Mythic/Raiders are angry because loot doesnât drop anymore.
Neither complaint is unjustified, itâs just that people who focus on M+ and Raiding donât care that much about Anima, and the people who are trying to get the mounts/pets/transmog⊠some of them donât care about M+ and raids so each will shrug at each otherâs complaints despite both being valid complaints.
But at the end of the day, buffing Anima drops from M+ and Raids are kinda stupid because that only panders to the people who do both collecting and M+/Raiding which the smallest of the 3 groups, and on top of THAT, the buff is so small itâs miniscule at best.
Yay, you get a little more anima⊠still less than a world quest 'cept for killing Denathrius.
Then why do you guys need it?
Surely not for loot, you get that off the mythics and raids.
So then it is for the sanctums - which Iâve heard is NOT necessary for progression.
So fine.
If we donât get more then no one ought to get more.
