It’s funny to see players thanking blizzard for this. Come on. What a joke.

One reward? Last I checked all of the cosmetics aren’t “one reward”. If you think it is unreasonable for it to take a few months to buy all the transmog stuff then sorrynotsorry you are absurd.

Simple cosmetic that are found in the cov vendors should not be something that takes weeks to get. If its a mount or honestly a really high poly set with animations (like legion sets) then yeah ok I can somewhat get your angle, but still not months.

Your opinion would be more sound if there was more (im saying like 3x-4x the amount) options to choose from. Have mounts which are dropped from WQ go for large anima, more pets, more gear options, toys, etc… Bliz could have went crazy adding anything but went lazy and just added the basics to cov npcs.

They were never doing loot. They like loot as it is. This expansion is Ion’s wet dream other than the fact people are participating in PvP for their great deterministic gearing. I’m expecting changes to PvP loot if anything next patch to bring it in line with PvE.

This is a start; however, loot drop chances in M+ and Raids are still too low compared to PvP and the answer isn’t to nerf PvP drop rates. M+ should go back to 2 for completion + 1 for timing, capping at iLvl 213 instead of 210. Normal and Heroic raids should go back to 20% or 25% chance per person. Mythic should be 4 drops per boss.

It’s honestly demoralizing to do so much content and receive so little for it. My guild is already starting to burn out and we’re a guild that’s raided continuously at the heroic/mythic level since Wrath of the Lich King. We typically would raid from expansion launch until roughly two months before the next expansion launch, and at this point our roster is stronger than it’s ever been in terms of skill but we’re all feeling the frustration. The pendulum was indeed too far the other way in BFA Season 4 where loot dropped like candy everywhere, but slamming the pendulum back the other way is worse - far worse. For all its faults, the loot drop rates Warlords and Legion felt like the happy medium (bring back warforging or don’t. I don’t care).

Pretty sure the PC Gamer interview mentioned that they think loot isn’t in a great spot for M+ and raids… But Pvp is ok.

That would lead you to believe that they’re going to implement a system similar to the pvp vendors we have.

If not, they’re super out of touch.

Like this but it still doesn’t fix the over all problem for covenant features costing a boat load of anima to unlock or the over all general loot scarcity that sucks the fun out of doing raids and mythic +.

Oh, “just do mythic 10” you say? Cool.

Woo… they saved the expansion! We can all go back to playing.

It’s a good change of course… but this is like trying to bribe a child to not talk with a single yellow Skittle.

it’s very unfortunate that m+ is the only way to farm anima. oh well. off i go to run a bunch of them.

There is a difference between putting people down and giving a wake-up call.

You do no ranked pvp. You do not have aotc. You have not killed any mythic bosses. You have not completed a 14 key. You are 214 ilvl. Real talk, what ilvl do you actually expect to be?

No it shouldn’t. M+ is infinitely spammable, and the current drop rates reflect that very well. It’s already too rewarding, and despite full clearing heroic nathria since week 2, 60% of my gear is M+ and the rest is PVP. Wearing one item from the raid now.

Raid drops on the other hand, being on a weekly lockout and generally requiring more skill and co-ordination than equivalent level M+ should be dropping at 25%.

anima isnt the problem, its the low amount of gear we get in m+ and raids, and the low item levels of gear from m+.

A lot of the world quests I see have 2-5 of those. Which was more than an entire dungeon or raid boss gave. I couldn’t care less about Anima but you get far more from simple world quests than you do in dungeons or raids.

Strongly disagree. M+ 15 is harder than heroic raid and the gear should reflect that.

I’ve yet to see a reason to care about anima. Especially if you’re doing mythic+ at higher key levels.

Still not rewarding to do m+
