It hardly takes no life to do +7 mythic lol. It takes exactly the same amount of time. You’re just bad.
Lol, wtf are u a bliz employee … so 200 days to do all WQs for anima … lolk thats abotu 2-4 hours a day just for anima when u include all the travel times.
So let’s say 400 hours conservatively … for one reward, lol.
You don’t have to do it, its all cosmetic stuff. This is an MMO, things should take some effort.
Why is it you only seem to care when raiders and people doing dungeons complain. People have complained world quests feel unrewarding to do as well yet you completely ignore that.
I don’t believe dungeons and raids should be one stop shopping experience. You force others into that content, yet the people who do that content can pretty much skip other content. This is a continual pattern and I just can’t understand why their money is of more importance to you than other players money.
so the playerbase is starved instead of giving them food u toss them 1 rotten apple and call it a day.
I think you missed the point that everyone has been complaining about, by a lot. IDGAF about anima. I didn’t even unlock any other sanctum feature except the one that allows me to travel faster. If I am raiding heroic, why would I even need anima? Am I going to upgrade my gear? Probably not, because the max ilvl you get from upgrading your gear is still worse than the normal raid.
dO yOu EvEn PlAy WoW, BlIzZ?
People have asked for anima to drop. In fact, people have said if you aren’t going to have gear drop at least give us anima. So this is what you get.
Except its going to the wrong crowd. And after re-reading that interview he gave, I feel very confident that this anima bump is exactly their solution to making players feel better when they don’t get an item they want.
You didn’t directly, I’m referring to alot of people in this post in general are basically saying “not good enough”
All it does is gives you an extra boost when farming anima, this boost should now make your weekly quests done faster
The gearing issue can be resolved another day and that’s most likely at blizzcon online
I’m just saying people need to stop raising pitchforks over small things like this
It’s like complaining about black friday sales and you want those prices right now even though it’s a month before Thanksgiving
Real questions: Does the anima reward happen for completing the raid in LFR? Is it a weekly reward? If yes to those two questions, then great!
I’m not one to come to the forums and whine, but this change feels seriously tone deaf. I mean, it’s better than nothing, I guess, but not much better.
For players who care about the things purchasable with anima, it puts virtually no dent in the slog to accumulate enough. For players who are entirely motivated by gear, it literally does nothing.
Hard to see this doing much more than annoying both camps.
dude please stop. the issue is not anime. anime is useless and has no point at all. we want rewards, not a filler random crap for your borrowed power crap systems.
this entirely misses the mark and the point of the feedback.
You have removed gear progression for m+ players, nerfed the drop chance of loot. your response is “LOL more anime!!!”
No. Give us a currency, give us a way to buy/upgrade gear based on the highest key level done. Give us higher item level loot for M+. Stop with the stupid anime power/azerite power/artifact power nonsense. IT does not need to exist.
What about addressingn alt catchup, or covenant swapping. When you swap convenants you may catch up renound but you’re literally 8 weeks behind on anima upgrades, mission follower table, etc. These are grinds that are pretty significant. Or a new player which may go “well screw this I’m too far behind”. Take that one to the bosses, they might want to make a change then
Of course I checked the vendors. Other than the Renown 36 Illusion there’s nothing left that I would want that I haven’t already gotten. The weapon and armor appearances are all just slight variations on what I’m wearing now.
The point I am making is that, from my perspective, I already have a very steady stream of anima coming in daily just by doing my Maldraxxus WQ’s and callings. I’m not hurting for anima. But I’m in no rush to acquire everything I can get with anima either. I got rank 3 anima conduit, rank 2 transport (soon to be rank 3) and rank 1 abomination factory and command table. So I have prioritized getting anima, and it’s working.
With this change it will only take until next expansion to farm the 60k anima i need to upgrade all my covenant hall things.
Nice but it still feels like we’re a bit too Anima starved. Maybe not so much on mains but definitely on alts.
I appreciate a lot of this isn’t ‘necessary’ - its pets and transoms and quality of life. But even on mains it feels odd getting to, say, a renown level and being unable to buy the rewards. Instead you think ‘well… maybe in like 3+ months’ which is a really weird response to getting what amounts to a new rep unlock.
Those are the people who asked for this. Why is it going to the wrong crowd?
I agree with you though, it should be gear in those not anima.
Once again, blizzard proves how out of touch they are with the playerbase.
At least I’ll have better enima.
They already told you they wanted it to hurt if you choose to swap covenants. Think of it as serious as betraying you faction… its very logical to have to bust your butt to make a new name for yourself.
I don’t think raiders were asking for more anima, I think they complained because they were getting anima instead of loot. So giving them more anima, instead of more loot, is sending to the wrong crowd.
I’m sure there are raiders who are also collectors, and maxing out sanctums and all the rest, but the players who don’t raid and stick to WQs and are also collectors and also want to max out their sanctums, but to whom loot is not as important, aren’t getting anything out of this bump.
