I’m a solo player.
I used to believe this for a short time sometime ago.
It’s an MMO.
It contains challenges and structure… you aren’t entitled to the best just 'cause you pay. I am not entitled to all channels when I pay for a basic package in canada for the thiefs that they are, those monopoly jerks.
You kinda have to recognize what it is and what you are playing.
I’m surprised the WoW team did what they have done so far for us casuals though.
Youre both wrong. Everyone deserves the best gear. There should never be ONLY one way to get it.
Only the most driven players deserve the best gear. Blizzard made the best decision possible by requiring intense community building aspects to play an integral role in the endgame of World of Warcraft.
Skill. Grit. Teamwork. You cannot succeed without all 3. You cannot progress without all 3.
Blizzard, as a company, in their MMORPG, values players coordinating their efforts, together, to defeat mechanically insane boss encounters. It is literally the perfect system. A perfect meritocracy.
What you want is socialism.
The fastest and easiest way to get the best gear in the game is by doing Mythic+ dungeons.
When was that, ten years ago? Because anybody these days will immediately tell you that the fastest and easiest way to get the best gear in the game is with Mythic+ dungeons.
I do real irl content, I work to pay for food. So I deserve to eat. It’s a little far fetched to compare gear in a video game to eating irl, I wouldn’t expect anything else from you though.
Your sub buys you the same access to the game everyone else has. Nothing more, nothing less. What you choose to do with that determines the rewards you get.
This whole sort of exchange is just a sign that the reward structure of this game sucks all around.
what is harder than mythic raid content?
I think ALL players should have access to the best gear if they want it. I shouldn’t have to wait 2+ expansions to farm it by myself because I can’t join your elite clique of a guild to get it. I pay money for this game and a subscription, I should have access to it. 
Incorrect. The fact that YOU want it this way does not matter.
why do yo want THE best gear when you dont raid/m+/pvp or put any effort into getting that gear? why do you need a fully 250ilvl toon? to do what? WQ’s? come on…

This is what people bickering over gear in WoW sounds like, because of how bad the reward design is.
Good news: Everyone does.
You have the same access everyone else does.
So, your playing something called an “MMORPG” and in MMORPGs, the focus is on, well…multiplayer-online portion to access the best gear due to it being challenging content. If your a solo player, just being honest, your better off in a game like Skyrim or even ESO, this game isn’t for solo players who want the best gear.
