But nobody told you to do that. If you had reached out for some assistance, you’d have seen that all you had to do was log out of the launcher and back in again.

Well, yes and no. I did do a little research, maybe not enough and I couldn’t see any similar issues and or solutions, so. And, I did that. I logged out closed windows, etc. Nothing worked until I uninstalled and reinstalled, so I’m not sure?

Most people who had issues wee those who never closed the wow launcher and agent.exe so it was still running with old info. Logging out of the launcher and then logging back in to it resolved their issues,

Im not sure why that didn’t work for me. I logged out, closed the window, reopened, etc. Still didn’t work.

I had to uninstall WoW and then reinstall. And, since then, I have random d/c’s during BGs and horrible graphics issues when first logging on. Idk why, everything was running smooth prior.

Not to mention, I just recently rolled this character thinking it be a nice change from the Paladin I’ve played for over a decade.

And Warriors seem to hit like crap in BGs, and the new 8.2 is bleh. I’ve spent alot of money on this hobby over time and I got to be honest, I’m starting to really scratch my head with everything.

Did you try running a repair before unintalling and reinstalling?

Another thing to try next time is restarting the PC. Sometimes the agent process doesn’t exit properly and it takes a fresh boot to reset it.

I did not. Though I should have, now that you mention it. Would that have worked faster? I mean, it didn’t take long to reinstall, my PC is is pretty top notch.

I did that too. Still didn’t get any servers online though. Had the whole “incompatible” deal still.

At this point you’re better off in the Tech Support forum.

I fixed my issues without the help of Blizzard cookie cutter responses. :slight_smile:

I wanted to just thank the OP for making a thread and also to allow Blue(s) to see that they have the right to be wrong and rude. This thread is proof.

No Blue was wrong or rude in this thread. They were actually correct and quite nice about it. The OP was a jerk and you are simply being a troll.

And I’m sorry you think that. The Blue editted their response, first off. Secondly they apologised so I’m not fabricating anything here.

And as per the fix… It took less than four minutes. Not that big of a deal, more of an annoying nuisance. Much like your defense of the Blue team here? Who’s trolling who.

Except you could have used tech support to avoid using drastic measures. It’s good you found a solution; it may not have been the best. Those “cookie cutter responses” solve the majority of the issues players have.

No one was rude. Reading emotion in text is subtle. Vrakthis corrected the statement to avoid misinterpretation.
