Since I’m not in the guild anymore and I blocked him I couldn’t do the normal reporting. I was in [Guild and Character Name Removed] has been spewing for the last almost 2 or 3 hours [Removed]
Now I’m all good with peoples points of view on religion, but this is taking it very very far to spew in a video game for hours on end. Flooding Guild chat upsetting many many other people, yes its a “Guild Internal Matter” for the most part but with no other officers on and no GM on. But this goes beyond Guild internals and harassment and even hate propaganda against people. Its Hate Speech that is being spewed by a person in-game and its TOXIC. I was removed from the guild ok whatever I’ll take it up with the GM. But I shouldn’t have to listen to this person or leave the guild because there are no other officers on.
Talking about cleansing crosses a SEVERE line.

Naming and Shaming is considered harassment. You need to remove the names from your post.
Reports can not be made over the forums. There are no GMs on the forums.

I’m sorry, Cougar, but this is not an appropriate means of reporting the behavior. Please use the right click report option in the future, that is the primary means of reporting possible chat violations.
Hopefully the others in the guild will be able to report the behavior accordingly so it can be removed.
I should be clear that we have a more lenient approach to guild chat than chat that takes place in other channels as it is considered at will. In situations where the chat violations are egregious, which is sounds like this falls into that category, a Game Master can review the reports and take appropriate action.
Yes and no. Again, membership in a guild is considered entirely at will, meaning if behavior that takes place within the guild is not something you are comfortable with, you decide if you wish to stay or not. If the guild doesn’t have enough officers on at the time to address the behavior, assuming it is behavior the guild leader prohibits, then you could place the person on ignore and/or leave the guild. Note, this is in addition to reporting the behavior if you believe it may violate our policies.
