It is at it says in the title, and I find it unfortunate as I spent some on said character. The reason I created the character and new account was due to an incident I had with my bnet authenticator, which is a different issue and has been resolved for now. For any dev or employee reading this, please enable character transfer between accounts.

That’s a retail feature.
They won’t do that as long as the boost is limited to one per account. It is more valuable to Blizzard for you to pay the monthly sub fee for two, three, four, or more accounts for all of your boosts than to just let you transfer them all to a single account.

Yeah they want to limit that for reasons I guess.
I thought they needed money sooner and we’d have this or open season boosting by now.
Maybe cata. NGL even I have in prior consolidation paid for realm transfer and even faction change. So…they still got their $60 that way lol.
time is money, friend (as the goblins say). Not happy 100% about it but worth it.
The amusing part is you could transfer characters between accounts as far back as Vanilla.
But not allowing it in Classic for some reason. Probably would take some coding or something, and the 1 intern has enough on his plate already.

It’s the boost problem.
The viable theory is people would use this to link new boosty accounts and transfer them when leveled.
It would have hurt the leveling part of the game.
Which happened anyway. Only JJ bonus seemed to bring people out. Mostly. Its about the only time I really work lower levels like many do.
Blizz doesn’t give a 
about that. That become abundantly clear when they added the boost. Speaking of the boost, it seems like if you could transfer between accounts a lot of people would make accounts, buy boosts, then transfer. But as someone else pointed out maybe it’s more profitable just having players with permanent multiple accounts.
Ive seen that too but I don’t buy much into. This game to me is not really dual or more box game. Unless botting anyway lol.
I tried it once when they had one of those nice sales. But I didn’t see the value it in. A sometimes fun experiment but when that month ran out the account died.
My view is biased by eve admittedly. there I ran 4 accounts active for quite a few years. Game money to game time’d it all.
Thing was it was for effect. One of those effects was several billion net profit a month.
