Obviously your lack of flying isn’t keeping you, nor any of the other active subscribers from paying and playing…so…how does it feel yelling at the wind?
You mean the current head developer has spoken, that can always change when he is removed and someone new that reads the forums is promoted. My only birthday wish!!!
These are the same devs who tried to take flying out of the game going forward in WoD. The player backlash was so great they reversed that decision within 3 weeks. Pathfinder was the punishment to the players who wouldn’t allow the devs to take away flying. If it was truly just about “seeing the content from the ground” there wouldn’t be a year long time gate on flying.
Why else would I be here? I’ve never said wow isn’t fun. I think BFA is a bad expansion (made MUCH better by flying) but it’s still wow and it’s still more fun than a lot of games out today.
Yeah you’re the only one who remembers it that way because it didn’t happen that way they kept stringing us along about flying and then they finally announced that they were going to have no bflying ever again . That is when people begin on subbing because Final Fantasy XIV announced that they were going to have fly and was it decided they were going to sell them they came out with his compromise and changed their minds within 2 weeks.
Oh but your fifteen dollars gets to dictate how I play the game? Your way takes Away my choice to fly if flying is enabled you’re still able to use ground mounts.

Umm who’s lol’ing all the way to the bank. Q2 Blizzard didn’t make any money. This is why you don’t poke the customer with the stick, the companies revenues decline every time it happens.
You realize that there are more customers than what post on the forums yeah? Not listening to you is not the same as not listening. The sooner people stop thinking they speak for the masses (regardless of side), the better off everyone will be.
I mean why not make an expansion based on pretty floating islands and force us to fly since so many of the communitie absolutely have to fly. Why even bother making roads or rivers or whatnot if they just end up being window dressing.
I made a thread Thursday of that year that asked if flying was not coming in patch 6.1 and my thread was deleted. Next day on Friday they announced no flying for patch 6.1 to minimize the impact of the news.
Patch 6.1 went down as the “selfie patch”
Had they stuck to the original plan of releasing flying in patch 6.1 they would have avoided a lot of trouble.
