What is even more funny, is he doesn’t even realize blizz has been making it EASIER and QUICKER than the first pathfinder was in WoD. You had to get exalted before…not its just revered. We now also have WQs and rep token items, now also contracts, etc. It takes no time at all for BFA pathfinder. I was actually disappointed it took me a week and a half, while avoiding Naz for days to farm 2 rares there, to get flying. Maybe I just do not have a sense of entitlement and feel like if I pay a sub, I should have everything in the game handed to me…eh…who knows how the Karen thinks

This is my concern as well. Except for cata no xpac gave flying from the start and Cata would be the only one that really requires it for level questing.
In Wrath a bird could be rented for certain quests.
BC and MoP didn’t have it before cap and then we have the Pathfinder crap.
On the other hand if enough players wait until the xpc is live, 9.0 should change everything already and they might loose plenty of customers if they remove flight in these xpacs.
My hope is that WoD to BfA Pathfinder will be eliminated.

There were boos as well as cheers. That’s why ion spoke about how the playerbase is divided. Literally in reaction to the audience reaction.

That might ruin it for you, but others it makes it better for them so if you like being on the ground nobody is forcing you to fly. Take BFA for example, one of the things I hated the most about it was everything was a Pain in the rear to get too. It felt almost like it was made that way intentionally to slow me down and force me to play at a certain speed. Probably was made that way because they do not want people flying through the content, well like me sometimes that is the way I play. Sometimes not. In the end BFA was not fun. I had to force myself to level this 1 toon just in case it got better or next expansion is better. I do not see it getting better as long as Ion is lead man. Some people like it, some play out of necessity they are addicted and have nothing else to choose, and some feel like they invested so much they have to play it whether its fun or not. To those that loved it and did have fun I am happy for you! I on the other hand hated it with a passion! WOD was awesome compared and it did not have any content, but it was cool for a little while. I really hope Shadowlands is fun I truly do, but I already see similarities to BFA so time will tell. Classic has its bad points, but its fun to play and has immersion and atmosphere.

Yeah, we shouldn’t even be able to fly. Flying is stupid and kills WPVP.
I watched on the virtual ticket, you could hear cheers. This is some guy holding a phone in the crowd, so you only hear the people in their immediate area.
Ion even acknowledges there were also applause and cheers. And to complete my attempt to keep things fair and factual, he does mention there were more boos than cheers.

YES, that would actually be amazing. Even if they have less players overall il gladly transfer my characters to said servers
