Simply playing the game to cap, fine but forcing a part of endgame on players that they normally wouldn’t play, not fine. It’s not just play the game, it’s play the game Blizz way or don’t get what makes it fun.

No one knows why everyone left, but plenty since WoD have said PF/flight was it…you don’t believe them…yet the subs keep declining.

See my comments on hubris above…this development team or just Ion have a different vision than their now former players…that’s how you lose subs, you believe no one really ever quits. Then you release Classic, and your subs triple…guess none of them were tired of WoW, just what it’s become.

Suuuuuper dramatic. The time difference in using flight whistle and using the fp versus flying is negligible. Also for long flights i always use flight paths.

People say they are going to quit if Pathfinder is not removed. They don’t quit. Blizzard ignores them since they don’t follow through.
If you are going to claim to quit, you need to follow through so Blizzard will believe you. Otherwise they will just continue to call your bluff and do whatever it is they want to do.

Nobody says you shouldn’t. You do you, flying is more active than taking an fp though. Some prefer it.

I completely understand, I think it’s a silly statement. They have left, in droves…after complaining about loss of flight and PF. You don’t get it.

You are the one who is not understanding, if enough leave to hit their bottom line they will. They did it before and they would do it again.
Not enough people are quitting to get their attention.
As for why people who quit actually do so, we have no way to know that outside asking them. I haven’t asked 100 million people over the course of 15 years why they quit… maybe someone else has though.
I usually just go with the flo and enjoy the game. This time I wont be subbing or buying the xpac until flying is released. Im not being grounded for a year again. Thats if I even have interest to come back. I dont mind pf at all, the time gating is ridiculous though. Jmo.

Unasked for advice: Do P1 then unsub until P2 is available. That way you aren’t subbed when it’s no fun, but you also aren’t playing catchup.

It is what it is, we know Blizzard lies so all you (or any player) can do is accept it. Even the threat of leaving won’t bother them because they have a different market they are interested in. To them our money is a drop in the bucket.
