I can’t agree more with this post. I want to spend most of my time playing how I would like to play. Up until this expansion, that includes being able to fly. This pathfinder was ridiculous. If the next one includes a slew of reputations to achieve pathfinder, it’s likely I’ll be stopping my subscription.

with this being the way flying has been 2 expansions and them again and again saying they like this method of obtaining flying. Im shocked your shocked and how this still surprises anyone
The new covenant system seems very balanced in terms of rewarding the player for their choice cosmetically as well as more solo content, and pathfinder is the perfect solution for those who want and don’t want flying.
We still need more information on the additional class/spec spells soul binding provides in order to have a full judgement.
Other than that everything is about expected and I feel as if you really overreacting.

I don’t mind Pathfinder. They have said this is the way it is going to be going forward. I’m not sure why people find that shocking.
I just wish we could fly in x.1 instead of x.2 and then time-gated after that. Just let us fly in the first major patch.
So you mean simply playing the game through its progression and topping off whats left of rep at the end is too much for you? Being an impatient person is a silly reason to not pre-purchase.
I dont see this as a problem. In all honesty it makes me appreciate flying when i actually do get it. The instant gratification culture has you bad.

For people who are lazy and refuse to do pathfinder, that equates to no flying.
I do Pathfinder right away every time. I got part 1 done before most other people in BFA.

I think the issue is more that it takes almost a year to complete, making it spiteful, time-wasting garbage.

I am not sure. The devs seem to feel that flying is and end-of-the-expansion thing. I don’t really oppose that, but if they did like they did in MoP, I’d be ok with it. But I think with the economy the way it is now, it would have to be really expensive. Then we get the “LOL this is just to get people to buy tokens” argument.
Getting BfA pathfinder took me about 3 months of casual play. But I didn’t play a lot either. Usually just the Mech daily and the Emissary.
It’s funny how players seem to think Blizzard cares about a threat of unsubbing when they know they’ll still buy more time next month.
Exactly. It’s completely pointless. If you want to teach Blizzard a lesson you are gonna have to put on your big girl panties and follow through.

Throwing a temper tantrum is more fun though. It’s easier to threaten to quit the game rather than saying you quit but can’t stop posting on the forum.
