Thanks glad we agreed on one thing make Warmode give more rewards and make it no flight. Hell make no flight PVP servers il play on one even if its the only one.
Flying is not an instant teleportation… you don’t negate the travel and in some cases flying if you’re not careful can drag extra mobs lol.
Now that IS an instant tool (relatively)
Because that’s not fun? Are you being dense on purpose because I’m genuinely having a hard time not taking this as trolling. NO ONE is asking for a teleportation to WQ’s… by that insane logic Dungeon Finder should require a pathfinder to enable.

The majority of the playerbase voted against flying during WOD. A few vocal screamers resulted in the perfect compromise that is Pathfinder.
This is not going away and they should look into removing pathfinder and flying again as it detracts from gameplay.
and I’ve been doing that for hours. Yes the game did mean that much to me, even with the LOSS of so many of my friends in it.

They are taking us back to every Expansion. You CAN’T FLY in any of them until you get Shadowlands Pathfinder.
Essentially Ion and his crew just made Warcraft non-flyable at all period.
It came to me this morning and I’ve been sobbing all morning. I’ve been forced out of the game I really like. I’m staying ( why I don’t know ) to get my fifteenth year badge of honor and then I have to find new entertainment.
Im not being dense and you have to be lying to tell me that flying in anyway, shape or from is nothing more than a glorified fly hack… i mean why bother pointing my character in one direction looking at it fly and then going down boom done and gone… Cut the middle man make me tele to the exact spot and we are done and good to go.

I’m gonna go with a negative on that ghostrider lol or maybe you forget that whole “We’ll enable flying later” which turned into “We never designed WoD for flying” which turned into “Take your damn flying but run all this content first that you’ve already been doing”.

Pathfinder is completely fine, I actually am about 75% done with it in BfA but i don’t play any more. barely - As long as it doesn’t take a year, maybe closer to 5-6 months for perma release

Give it up Red Baron. Your wings have been clipped because flying is bad for world exploration and it ruins immersion.

Look, you have no argument here. The game was objectively more popular and more profitable with the old flying system. You can make a million arguments about the downfall of the subs. Flying is a part of that. What part exactly? That’s impossible to answer. But we know definitely is that it didn’t drive players away. The game grew when flying was added.
Flying wasn’t an issue until Blizzard made it an issue. Now, competent devs would integrate flying into the experience rather than making it a tedious grind to unlock. But competence apparently died long ago. Can you imagine if flying actually was used as a gameplay mechanic? Think of all they could do it with it. If it was a focus point of the experience. Flying combat, flying obstacles, courses, etc. So much potential. But nah…let’s just use it as a device to keep players strung along to unlock it after an arbitrary amount of months to just be able to fly over irrelevant and outdated content.

No if it’s anything beyond release day that’s a day too far, Pathfinder isn’t even hard it’s just tedious. I don’t mind doing the zone quest stories and finding the areas and their respective dugneons doesn’t bother me. Waiting 5+ months to unlock flying for content I’ve already done upteen times? Please no.

People can tell whether they’re having fun or not. They don’t need someone to try to convince them something is fun when they know it’s not.

all current zones and expacs will be no flying until after shadowlands pathfinder is earned. it was very clearly stated.
Guarantee just expect to get 1-2 months for ppl to get max level, another 2-4 months of preparing it, and finally releasing it

Then I intend to raise a fuss until that’s changed or I guess just skip the first expansion in a long time. I like WoW I’ve got a lot invested in my characters and their stories. That said while I am reluctant to say “I quit” I really don’t know of many ways to get through to blizzard how I value such a simple thing.
Your level 120’s are being reduced to level 50. You have to choose zones to level in. Flying in Shadowlands isn’t being offered until you get Shadowlands Pathfinder.
If they are incorporating every expansion zone in this mix of leveling, it’s part of Shadowlands. If it’s part of Shadowlands, then you can’t fly until you get Shadowlands pathfinder.
I’m just thankful I figured it out now, still doesn’t make me feel any better.
